I rather like the new ST forums, particularly the new popup reply window. It also seems that the upgrades have made the site much faster. Looking forward to seeing the rest of it once you guys get it up. I don't have as much to get used to in terms of the new design, as I joined right before the site went down for the upgrade. Many thanks to Dirk and all the ST crew for getting these great new forums up so quickly! It had to have been a massive undertaking, since the site now has nearly 110,000 members

I really like the new forums. It feels so incredibly clean!

Makes me want to start posting more often.

The one thing that bugs me is in the menu at the top, the Modds & Downloads. Shouldn't it be Mods & Downloads? :/

edit: also, at the top of this thread table for example, it says Forums > Simtropoli... > Simtropoli... > Welcome ba...., which really annoys me.

Thank you so much dirk , Im so happy now. With my low power system, ST used to lagg my computer really badly and MSN would freeze up while loading pages. But now it is silky smooth. Makes it much easier now  *Thumbs up*

Finally, timezones! Hmm... it looks like all sticky threads have become unstickied. Not only that, but they don't appear to be displaying in chronological order at all. At least, that's what it looks like from looking at the Modding - Transit Networks forum. The welcome back message is also dated Feb. 3 for some reason.

It's goos, but agh, I hate these pop up windows. I lost a long reply recently because I accidentally pressed Cancel. Fix that up, would ya? Oh, and I don't like the non-standard BB-Code. I despise it, in fact. Other than that, it's all fine. Oh, and can we at least have the pages fixed. Can you change it back to the old 30 replies a page, and fix it up so that page numbers show up properly in the topic title?

okay, this sucks. Big time.

I am now avatarless and sigless because my old av and sig no longer fit the rules

-my old av is a PNG, I can't upload those, and we now can't host avs offsite anymore. XP

-my old sig is way over 255 characters because it contained a significant ammount of html.

Until these problems are fixed, ST is in effect ruined.

This is only made worse for me by the fact that I see no reason we needed to up and switch softwares like this. ST as I knew it and loved it is gone.

Expect to see me around a lot less in the future.

Well, I have to say I don't like the new forums.. and do you know why I don't like it? I remember the last idealbb forums, I first registerd, and I posted over 4100 posts there.. and now the forums style is definietly different... I think dirk should set the default posts per page = 30 and he should set something that will not change the numebr of posts per page... that it only can be 30, not less, not more...

the sigmatures are a bit smaller, but they're ok...

what else I wanted to say... well, I don't like the new forums i think because I really got used to the old ones.. but there's always time for changes, and I think that in about 3-4 months I'll get used to these forums...

and BTW, I want the old emoticons back!

You can change the number of posts per page in your profile to what you want. I like 25 myself.
