Good start. We shouldn't forget that London is also a future Olympic host city too.

Nice start, I look forward to seeing you develop this fine city. Nice intro pics.

Its a shame about the title, you should see a mod about changing it to the correct spelling. Good luck! 44.gif

If its to be a British CJ perhaps you should have a loo at your spelling, we Brits spell our words differently from you Yanks. (We spell them the right way!)

i wish you the absoloute best of luck with this project....your gonna need it if you want to model central london!!!! having lived here my entire life i can assure you this place is a veriatable warren of ancient streets , modern bypasses , and forgotten corners that even few londoners know about.

PS. if you are american just remember one thing , london isnt laid out in any kind of grid pattern like cities in the US , its fairly random
over large sections

just a few tips
1. there is a euro road mod on the STEX
2. there are many, many dockland buildings on the STEX, search ill tonkso
3. gascooker has created and uploaded many london houses, the ones in kensington, at least a few plus industrial and commercial.
4. to get high wealth homes, get barbyw's modded gascooker homes
Hope this helps in any way

Hope you do this well, always wanted to see a nice version of London.

Ohhh there is also Buckingham Palace on the STEX, just not the back( you'll have to make that)
try getting google earth.

1). i would estimate that it would take 1yr to accuratly CREATE central london.
2). London has a great mix on transport, but they dont have glr except in the dockland area and things like monorail are few between however im sure somone would take pleasure from creating heathrow and gatwick, with their rail connections also underground to do this to scale is going to be the biggest challenge.
O and i frogot to mention make sure every road on your map is red with cogestion. thats London!16.gif
Ok i said my peice, if u wana check out some on my transport i think it quite inspirational and u may benifit from some of my ideas. it can be found

    Go for it, Tankmank!!! 44.gif

I would love to see you succeed where so many has failed. I personally gave up on London after several approaches. It will take a very intens search on the STEX and other places. The most difficult part is to get the right european (yes, you're still one of us out there on the island) style.

If you can do it, I will be very very impressed. And why not do the Canary Wharf ? It would be an amazing undertaking, just think of that little toytrain that runs through. I once spend a week working on St. Cathrines Dock and Tower - that could be such a cool city part.

Oh, please hurry up. I cant wait to see how you will go about with this one.

Go for London - the world is not enough...

good start! I hope you plan on making the borough of sutton and merton (merton has the wimbledon tennis grounds), and possibly kingston and maybe even chav infested, murder capital of the south, croydon! Although this is a big task, you really need to concentrate on one area at a time to prevent distraction. just some advice etc ect, excellent work, i loo forward to more!
