I manage to be comfortable while fully clothed. BTW, I just saw a bunch of Japanese girls in kilts and guys in suits doing the Numa Numa dance in front of Tokyo.

Some did that in my town as well, just they shot them up in the air and not at a pond.

This is the saddest time of the year. When the Christmas time ends 8.gif. I've really started to like my Xmas avatar a lot. Soon, I'll just have the normal E 15.gif. There are no more big holidays untill the Forth of July! This stinks !!

@ Nexis: Thank you. I assume you are using the rating system from the Michelin Guide. Two out of three! Wow. Should I start a reservations book?

@vid: Is your undershirt showing because you lost your shirt paying for the egg salad? I wish you would drop the F initial in OMFG. We all know what you mean, and there really are kiddies here.

@ General Gunfire: Pop! Swisssssh! Glug, glug, glug. Enjoy. There is chilled caviare on the bar.

@Eastwinn: Well, Christmas goes until at least 12th night (January 6) which is also the Catholic Eastern Rite Christmas. In the RC Church it is called the Feast of the Epiphany. Around my house, it ends when we can get to the outdoor trees to remove the Chirstmas lights. Since they are LEDs, there really is no hurry. Sometime around the end of February, I guess.

@MrVegetable: Glass of champaign and a piece of baguette served. I think the bread will help you to sop.

@MsD: Congratulations Deb. You really did get it.

@defcon pilot:  One of our neighbors shot some fireworks off last night aswell.  Maybe it could have been some shotguns, I don't know for sure.

@N_O_Body:  I was totally shocked, I wet my pants.  I didn't even know I was nominated.  I even got a custom label to go with it.  I was so shocked.

    *pokes head in*

Well, plenty of stuff in my life going on recently. I joined my school's swim team, so I'm learning the ropes right now. Unfortunately, we only had about 2 weeks of practice before our first competition. Needless to say, I didn't win anything... 18.gif Hopefully, I'll catch up by later in the season.

How was New Year for y'all? Apparently, a lot of people like to fire their guns in the air on New Year's. I had no idea, I only found out because the Chicago PD put an announcement against it on the radio.

Who knew? I was thinking about it - The bullet has to come down at some point, and according to the laws of physics, when it returns to the ground, it's going just as fast as it was when it was fired. Not to mention shotguns, where the pellets could hit the ground anywhere. People amaze me with their stupidity.

    Yep, people are pretty stupid.
I've been on the local swim team for about four months now, and it's pretty good.
My new year's was pretty ordinary, I stayed inside, and just watched TV and used ST.

Actually, the bullet would be going somewhat slower due to friction with the air, but it would still be dangerous. (unless it was a blank)

@ardecila: Ard! I'll bet you thought I'd forget... Does your swim team play water polo as well as race? It's good fun. Physics isn't obvious to Joe Average. Where did they thing the slugs would go. After all, isn't it common knowledge that What goes up must come down? Where did they think they'd go, into orbit? A lot of people are hurt in the middle east by joy shots. What would the muzzle velocity have to be for a bullet to not come down? (Ans: The escape velocity for the solar system, which is?)

@Leech10: Picky, picky. It would be the terminal velocity for things falling in the air. Somewhere around 120 m.p.h. if memory serves.

haha, thanks for remembering. They say memory goes with age.. it can't be that bad if you can remember to greet me.

Our team played water polo once during winter break, as a fun practice. It was a lot of fun; wish I could play it more. Other than that, though, water polo is a seperate interscholastic sport at my school. I don't plan to play it, though - I have track instead during spring season.

Defcon - what's your major stroke?

One big thing I forgot to mention: while shaving some chocolate to sprinkle on the top of a Christmas trifle, I accidentally shaved about 2 mm off the tips of my right hand's middle and 4th fingers. It wasn't too bad of an injury, although it might take awhile to heal. The worst part of it is seeing a chunk missing out of your fingers... 46.gif

I'll take a bowl of Tomato Soup and some grilled cheese sandwiches...and a glass of milk...if you notice on my Signature that I've expanded the gadget...I'm toying with a Idea right now and all I need to do to see if it'll work is to pick a Animator and that the Animator will accept...but at least the Gadget looks like it goes with the Weather Gadget....I may if I can really get a not busy Animator I'll start a Cj Advertising Thing...but thats only if I can finish the desgin, colors and get a Animator...all it's going to do is Flash the Name of the CJ then it'll flash who made it...and if you were to click on it it'll link you to the Cj...I'm also going to convert the image into a Easier to load version so it's not a bmp...and it's smaller..like a igh quaility Jpg.Since the Thing on the left is actully I image thats updated every 1-3 minutes it kinda counts as a Image...but I've made sure that the new File is small, that they blend in Seamlesssly...that they will combined stay within the signature Regulation Size and that they work...
