Bill's Toasty is the name and it's a small building where ya can get homemade burgers the size of your face, fries thecker than fingers, and cheese balls like pinballs. Big food, big flavor. lol Any cheese pizza? I could eat one of those whole about now.quote>

ky72x: Yup, we 'shore do. Isn't it interesting how satirists always pick on the people with power or fame, bad and good? 3.gif

MsD: I didn't think so. (J/K.) 3.gif

DioAngel: Here's a tip: Use the "edit post" option at the bottom of your post. 4.gif

Hello again! It's midnight here. Nice to see a place open 24/7 other than Wal-Mart. I feel sorry for the poor saps who work on Christmas morning. I'll take a coffee. I'm working on a new city all night.

Ozzy is good, but I prefer Foo Fighters or Nirvana when I wanna crank up..sometimes I'll get all nostalgic and go 70's & 80's too

Nevermind is one the best albums of all time. I think In Utero is under-rated however.

Weird how people in my age group wonder why the majority of my music is from the 70's to the early 90's. I just tell them that I can't stand the two biggest trends in music today: Emo (horrible "backstreet boy" punk as I call it) and Rap (need I say more?). Give me The Clash or Pink Floyd over the crap produced today. 19.gif

I like the older rock, like ACDC, Aerosmith, and Metalica.

MsD: oops. Well you look different when your sleeping with your face on a piece of pie...

Matthew Mconohohay is not the most attractive man on eartyh. I know at elast 50 people in town that are more atractivet thatn hin.

@Nobby: Water and lots of it please. I think I'm being negatively impacted by the higher than avaerage temperatures. And could we get a few billion litres just spread evenly over NWO? We could use it, thanx.

Speaking of Nirvana, they're over rated. Soundgarden was way better. Im listening to Pearl Jam now. The new album is good but cant match 'Ten' on vinyl.

hey s.i.X. Are you one of those European people that are nearly dieing in the heat? It's about 90 degrees where I am. I just had a bad crash on my bike. Hit a rock and landed in a thorn bush. I do that a lot

Heat? You don't know heat unless you live in a desert, Arizona, or California. Where I live in California it was 110+ across the board last week.

defcon pilot: You betcha.

beebs:  Ugh?  You taking up talking like a cave man now?  1 litre iced tea served with sliced up lemon.  36C?  In Edmonton?  I didn't think the chinook blew in the summer.  Pant, pant, whew.

Hi, Jacky.  Some of us are hot.  Mostly we are fine, thanks.  --  Later: Here's your coffee.

ryanb_sc4:  Central air conditioning is wonderful.  Ahhhh!  -- Later.  Here's a cold pack.  Just flex it in the middle and it will get cold.  If you need it, here's a towel to wrap it in.  What has losing got to do with a sore leg?  Get checked?

MsD:  I see you are planning to pose for August Rodin (She who used to be the Beautiful Healmiere). Later:  Enya?  Sure.  Drop a quarter and see what you can find.

    sloppetPizza served with anchovies (subito)!

defcon pilot:  The last guy who tried that was Wotan.  He got nine Valkyries for his trouble.  Erda said it wasn't a bad birth.

ky72XBacon served, OJ on the side.  Actually, I think he could have found a more lubricious spot than the beach sand.  Ouch!

nerd_guy:  There is a joint in Meaford, Ontario that might interest you.  HarbourMoose.jpg

Cheese pizza served.  You should try the factory burger.  8 oz of ground prime rib.  -- Later.  Here's your coffee.  The Autosystem never sleeps.  -- Later.  s.i.X lives in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

DioAngel:  Welcome.  Espresso double served.  We use a special dark roast from the purveyors of Medaglia d'Oro.  Enjoy.

Jackycoffee served.  Hi Jacky, how are things at the Kabin?

s.i.X.  Just go down to the lake.  I head the water in Lake Superior is potable if you don't mind a little Mercury.  I take it you are also in the current heat wave?

All this musical discussion reminds me of the stuff we were listening to in the Car this afternoon driving up to Midland to get the rug cleaner fixed.  We have six CD's of movie music and were playing the first disk.  It opens with 2001 (Also Spract Zarathustra by Richard Strauss), then goes to Titanic (My Heart Will Go On), Star Wars VII, ET, and some others.  It was a nice break from the raucous noise the local station plays.  Basically I like stuff from the 50's and 60's, especially anti-war folk.  Recently listened to my copy of Joan Baez' "Johnny I Hardly Knew Ye" (same tune as "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" but with the original words).

Nice to see you here N_O_body. thought the manager had just left! I'll take one of those burgers please. I never turn down a good hunk of meat and cheese! lol Ontario! Love the moose! Don't think I could convince my parents to drive me there from the Sprinfield area in Illinois! lot's of canadians here. Almost makes me wish we didn't make fun of canada so much down here. It's just there so we do.

ky72x: It hit 105 here a few days ago. Consider that I live in an are that can go from to 105 to -17 in the same 6 months.

's.i.X. Just go down to the lake. I head the water in Lake Superior is potable if you don't mind a little Mercury. I take it you are also in the current heat wave?'

I wouldn't drink out of the harbour... It's nice up by Sibley, though, but I'd still want to boil it before hand at least, just in case. We do that with water out at camp, it's run through a basic filter but we boil it before drinking it because you never know, ya know? I hate swimming, and being by the lake isn't that much of a releif. I just become nocturnal. It's a nice 18° now, and we even got a fraction of a fraction of a millimetre of drizzle a little while ago! And dry lightning! Whee!

'hey s.i.X. Are you one of those European people that are nearly dieing in the heat? It's about 90 degrees where I am. I just had a bad crash on my bike. Hit a rock and landed in a thorn bush. I do that a lot'

I live in Central Canda'uh. Call me vid. 4.gif You might want to wear a helmet, and maybe watch where you're going?

I'll take a mug of hot chocalate and some crab puffs. It's raining here. Hey s.i.X, I wear my helmet all the time because I've learned. I fall up the stairs on a daily basis too so I'm considering wearing it inside.

    DioAngel: Duhn't worry. 4.gif

s.i.X: When did I say he was? 3.gif

Nerd_Guy: Instead of overheating yourself, why not be more careful on the stairs?

MsD: "Young fellow"? He's 68 years old! 18.gif3.gif

    N_O_Body: Haha. 3.gif

defcon pilot: I'm coareful but not coordinated in the least. Plus my cats and dogs tend too sleep on the stairs. It's not just the stairs either. Recently I've had my hand slammed in my berdoorm door, my foot slamed in the car door, head-butted a wall, been stung by a wasp, stuck my tounge in a small fan, tripped when jumping a baby gate, slipped on a dog bone, and hit in the face by a rebounding basketball. That's just the last 2 weeks!!

This is by far my favorite place on ST.

No, the sore leg has nothing to do with losing.  I did get steamrolled while trying to screen the goalie.  Must've been an adrenaline rush - because I got right back up and kept chugging along.

I'm a tough little bugger when it comes to hockey.  Fast, too.  My mom took some pictures of my last game.  The whole family showed up - - I guess I surprised them with a goal.  4.gif

I'll post some of the pictures here.  You might not be able to get a good look at me - I'm a blur in most of them.

ryanb_sc4: Man I wish hockey was popular here. It's one of the only sports I like to play.

ky72x: Shoulda added a smilely 9.gif I hate heat too. I go to Florida every year and hate how hot it is. At least a lot of rides at Disney and Universal are air conditioned! 4.gif
