@Eastwinn: I think your new avatar is rather nice. Got something really nice for the new year?

@zmveliger: Salut! Guiness is always guid for you.

@Fischbob: Welcome. Enjoy the place. What kind of pie did you get?

@vid: I really don't know why you want to take a gliberal line with Steven Harper. Are you a captive of the Toronto Star? You know, he said he would kill the long gun registry. Should make a lot of your relatives happy.

@ Micah: Lurking is all very well, but you get more out of this place by participating. Why not try the free lunch?

@brancra: The autoserver works telepathically. Think of what you want and you will get it properly served. Welcome to the Factory.

@Bookworm: Would you like some grated Mizithra cheese with your spaghetti? Makes it Spaghetti Homer. Homer was reputed to eat it almost exclusively when he was at Troy. Might inspire your muse.

@MsD: Welcome back. Hope you had a good night.

@ SYM Productions: Food service completes for first course. Glad you are happy with the return of MsD. Your remaining courses will be served unobtrusively as you finish each one.

@ zmveliger: There is a virtual oxygen tank and mask in the back room for your katzenjammer. I don't think we have any mice here, but I am sure MsD would handle them ambidextrously.

@sloppet: Thanks for the cookies. Delicious! Welcome to the Moose Factory, sloppet. I don't think you've been here before unless you were lurking. Good to hear from you.

@Fred_Ginger: Hi, what are you reading?

@Yellowlab: Virginia isn't supposed to get that much snow, but there is a Colorado clipper going through. Good luck with it. Here in Huronia we have about 3 but it is blowing like stink. Makes for white-outs and drifts. Slippery roads with low visibility.

@Mr. Cinatit: Well, since you have to clean the hot tub, I will be sympathetic. The KK dragon will come and sterilize it for you. I hope it is ceramic. [KK = Kempenfeldt Kelly].

Thou shalt not get caught with they hand in the cookie jar. The autoserver duplicates enough cookies to make the zukes sick.

*The zukes begin eating cookies at a fast speed as they begin to fill the room*

    *KRACK!!!*

Hmm, there seem to be 3 dark zukes now...

*due to an errant thought, 3 fruitcakes are spit out by the autosystem and land in various spots in the room.*

    Welcome to page 74!

I don't read the Toronto Star, and I tihnk the gun registry programme hurts the fiberal's credibility more than the sponsorship scandal.

Ugh... anyone know anything to wash caffine out of the system?  Did you know you can get hung over from that stuff?  Like I am now...

12 cans of soda + half a 2-liter of soda + Dominoes pizza = ick.

I have Algebra homework I should probably be doing right now... but, uhm... I don't really feel like doing it.  Don't have the class 'til Tuesday anyway.

    Besides, it's supposed to snow tonight/tommorow.  44.gif

Oh!  MsD is back!  *toasts*  Hope you are feeling better...

...well, I'm off...  I need to sleep this off...

Just so you know, yesterday I could have worn shorts if I had wanted to.

*Feeling hungry, hym orders a truck load of ice cream and cookies.*  Wonder how long it will take those zukes to eat all of this.

N_O_Body, is your sig pic a gif animation?  I can't tell on my dialup whether it is or not (.gif animations don't play on my dialup) but seeing as it has an M in it and that would be the first letter of a scrolling Moose Factory .gif animation, I'm guessing it is.

Oo! Oatmeal! I love oatmeal with lots of brown sugar! Never thought of using maple syrup though since I use sultanas and raisins. Does maple syrup go will with that then?

    @ MsD

    From Wikipedia:

Sultanas are a variety of green, seedless, grape, usually sold dried, of ancient (possibly Persian) lineage, often used in cooking especially in Australia and the United Kingdom. They are also used to make white wine. They are smaller than raisins and larger than currants, and they can be eaten as-is or used in baking. For some recipes, they are soaked in a liquid (fruit juice, alcohol, stock, or water), making them plump, tender and juicy. They are similar, though not identical, to the golden raisins sold in North America, and the two can be substituted for each other in recipes without disadvantage. White raisins are dried away from sunlight.

@MsD: Goodness, Deb, you were up early. autosystem has served deluxe espresso for that extra punch. Enjoy. There is a cinnamon shaker if you'ld like a little extra seasons greetings type flavour. Sultanas are large raisins made from green grapes.

@Voar Tok: Here's your oatmeal. There's a pitcher of half-and-half on the bar if you want some liquid in it.

@MrVegetable: Yup. Not only that, oatmeal is good for your cholesterol levels. Service completes Here you are, with the raisins as specified. The syrup is on the counter next to the half-and-half.

I made oatmeal once, used half a bag of brown sugar, all of the maple syrup in the house and tons of cimmanins and raisons, it was sooo good.1.gif

We still have about 6 pounds of oatmeal.... Got it from stupidstore, big giant sac of it. They also sell 10 gallon mayonaise in a bottle shaped like that naked peeing boy statue. Japan is weird.

Why would a fruitcake have a name? It is just a piece of food.

*A 80 pound dark zuke walks by and lays down on a rug (that is 70 pounds of food in it), and due to another errant thought, several cream pies are thrown around the room.*

@MrVegetable:  Pizza does sound good for breakfast, what kind should we get?

@ACEfanatic:  At least you gat a snow day.  I remember that they used to come to few and far between.  Most of the time we still had to walk to school.  There would have to be a good 8-12 inches before they called school off.

@ N_O_Body: I'm rereading J. D. Robb's (Nora Roberts)  ...In Death series again as she has a new one due out soon and I want to be sure to remember where she left off.  Since I retired from US Civil Service I only read fiction (Government regulations can make a person nutso!).  And since I've always liked SF and Romance the ... In Death series is right up my alley as it combines both.  *takes the plastic cover with pie remaines off the book and settles in to read some more*  Do you think the autoserver can make me a Blizzard - that's Hot Chocolat and Baily's Irish Cream?
