I wonder if we broke the Moose Factory's mark of the fastest filled page. Does the owner have an idea of the previous mark?

Congrats on getting better so quickly, MsD!

They are forecasting snow for Monday!

For all of you northerners who are thinking, Whatever..., snow here is a big, big deal.  We have gotten out of school in the past few years for 1/4, 1/2, no snow at all (just forecasted snow which never materialized), and 1 several times.  So snow is a big deal.

@Everyone:  I need to go for now.  I will check in again tomorrow.

I'll have to watch the weather to see if I am expecting snow.

I've been here many times, but I never have once replied here. The only reason I came was to tell MsD get well soon. I hope the recovery is very quick... like before Christmas.

Who knows, I may come here again. But I'm not too sure. Probably to see what else MsD says.

Welcome new patrons. Enjoy yourselves. Just ask for food or drink and the autoserver will respond.

@vid: Steven lowers the GST to 6% and thats several hundred bucks less tax on a new car, and a new house will drop by quite a bit. Did you notice he also said, today, that he would cancel the long-gun registry? This means a lot of used RAIDs on the market. Anyway, I think those bucks from the registry would go a long way to setting up concentration camps for street punks found carrying heat.

Wow, I had heard of this place but never knew it really existed. *Takes a seat next to the bar* I just came here to welcome MsD back. I hope that this will be a very happy holiday season for everyone, especially her.2.gif

Um...how does the autoserver work? Because I work as a server at a restaurant, and...I can't help but stare at it.
Yellowlab, I envy you. Coming from a community where the annual snowfall is usually 11-15 feet, I never had a snow day for snow. Only when it drops to -25(Fahrenheit---what is that, like -32 Celsius?)

    EDIT: It is -32 C.

Oh well, welcome back, MsD! It's great to have you back!
*sees Eastwinn and starts to chat with him about Random Phrases of Insanity*
    *autoserver arrives*

I'll have some fried calamari, no sauce, spaghetti with just butter (your largest serving please), a mint cocolote chip ice cream, and some dried pinapple. Oh, and what kind of smoothie do you recommend?

    *goes back to talking*

The GST cut will only be one percent and thentwo percent by 2011........big deal.
Also it is the rich who will benefit the most.
The poor and middle class spend most of their post-tax income on food/shelter which are already GST exempt. The poor actually get GST returns which maybe higher than they even pay in GST.
The wealthy who spend relativly less on their food/shelter will be the ones who benefit as most of their income is discretionary which is GST applicable.
    quote>

See? It makes more sense now.

That way, poor people can spend money on things that are taxed with the GST (most things the lower class uses arent taxed with the GST) and put more money into the GST.

Besides, if rich people can have 3 hummers and a 4000sq ft house in the suburbs with todays energy prices, i'm sure they'll continue to get by. If not, well...

Us less-privledged folks are prepared for the higher prices.

@Fischbob:  Nice to meet you.  I just love meeting new people.  You'll have to come in here more often.

@Micah:  Thank you for coming to see me.  I am sure you will always be welcome here at the factory.

@brancra:  Glad you came.  The autoserver is pretty cool.  Just ask and you shall receive.

hey, don't worry about any shortage of cookies. i've been working on mixing some more in a hot tub which may or may not exist. been working on some nice and sticky stuff: caramel, chewy chocolate, marshmellows, honey - stuff that will really stick when baked in. hehe...have to feel sorry for the guy who has to clean out the hot tub next.
    *goes to administrators work jar*
*pulls out slip of paper with clean hot tub written on it*
    OH! The humanity!

hmmmm...shoulda ordered some cookies through the autoserver, now that i think back on it. got any cleaning bots i can borrow 3.gif
