Thanks for changing the color, NOBody. That off-white would have killed my eyes trying to read it.

N_O_Body: does your cellar have a wide selection of South African wines? What would be your choice?
    quote>

Actually, I know very little about south african wines. However, you could describe them to the autosystem and it will oblige, by teleport from the source if necessary. However, with your unsavoury beef mixture I could easily suggest the local rince couchon.

I need a snack, like llama themed cookie. I've been fooling with Macromedia flash lately and increasing my ActionScript Skills (I hardly had any in the first place). It has been coming easy to me because it is just like Visual Basic (A Language I know) and Javascript (Yet another I know) and a lot like Visual Basic Script (Yes, that does exist). I've been having some fun with it.

I opened firefox a few minutes ago, and all of my bookmarks were GONE.

437 bookmarks (at last count, could have beeen about 450) are gone. I got some back from IE, but pretty much everything I bookmarked recently is gone.

Just one more thing to add to this really crappy day...

    I'll have a beer.30.gif I don't care if i'm under age... THe Religious Right believes I'm 18, they're pretty correct so gimme.

Good evening everybody!  It has been a while since I have been in here.  How is everybody doing?

I just read (on page 60) that the Post_Your_Picture_Here thread was closed down because people were mis-behaving.  I hope I didn't start somthing (that caused it to close) with the joke picture I put in there of my squirral.  If I did I appoligize to everyone.

@zmveliger:  Just looked at your thread on your BAT.  You've been working hard, let me buy you a drink.

@N_O_Body:  May I please have a large bag of ice, I need to ice my sholder.

........... Props up at the end of the bar to enjoy her drink and rest...........

I was a witness to what happened, MsD, Your squirrel had nothing to do with it. All I can really tell you is that people were getting way off topic and that most of the time, when they posted, it had no picture in it and didn't coment another persons picture. You had nothing to do with it though.

@Eastwinn & gggg:  It's good to know that I wasn't the cause of all the trouble over there.  It's to bad that it is starting to go south on that thread again.  I was just beggining to check that thread out on a regular bases.

Well, I had a rather boring day today.  Rained in the afternoon and it was 4 PM before I knew it.  Polished off a half-chicken in 10 minutes.

    I'm sure y'all wanted to hear that.34.gif

@Eastwinn: A ginger bread llama is served iced with llama ice cream, ginger flavour. A glass of chilled llama milk accompanies this. You know, somewhere I lost my desire to write programs of any kind. I guess its something you get over, like tuberculosis.

@ vidioman: The Moose reaches under the autosystem ... Here's your beer, hi-test. There seems to be a problem with Firefox that causes it to lose cookies. It has happened to me, and to my XYL on a regular basis. I suggest keeping a backup of your cookies if you have that many. We are running Firefox version 1.0.7.

@ Rymac91: Food service as specified. Borrows a zuke to remove the cat. The zuke breaths on the scratches and they heal. The cat is quarantined, groomed, and released into the wild (city).

@MsD: Let me assure you that you had nothing to do with closing that thread. If it is deteriorating again, it may be archived and/or the offenders given a vacation. If they really get someone like skigeek in the act, it could be just to bad for them. Ash is doing his best. Here's your ice, and some scotch to put it in.

so...Mr. Moose...have you been to Sweden lately 3.gif (oops...nevermind...seems to be a Mrs. Moose, actually)

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - They rarely have problems with drunks or rowdy animals, but residents of a retirement home in southern Sweden had to deal with both: A pair of intoxicated moose invaded the premises.

@MrCinatit: Meese do like to eat things like windfall apples. Beats the daylights out of browsing on the bottom of a pond in the kind of weather they are getting there. The only apple products we carry in the Moose Factory are:

Apple Cider - Fresh - unpasturised
Apple Cider - Current Vintage - also unpasturized, but allowed to proceed naturally
Calvados Eau de Vie - No wonder William wanted to leave Normandy.

Drunk moose! That's the kind of story you would expect from Canada, not Sweden! 3.gif

Well, I live in the heart of Ontario apple country, and we don't have any meese around here. Maybe in B.C., but all the apples grown in Ontario are pretty much in southern Ontario.

There are reports of moose getting drunk, after eating apples that have fallen to the ground and fermented. People are asked to be on the lookout for these drunk moose, they may be disoriented, and more likely to go home with a cow. -22 Minutes

    22 minutes? Huh?

Just because the branch in Meaford was/is a real bar, is no reason for snide remarks.

I'll have my regular: Llama Milk Hot Chocolate, lotsa whipped cream, chocolate syrup, choclate sprinkles... and The Moose Factory's  Classic Coffee Cake... please and thank you!

And MAN the new Millenium Library here in Winnipeg is so nice!  I'll have pictures for you guys to contemplate, inside and out...

BATs: Electric Railway Chambers almost done (Winnipeg Re-creation Project)... MailQuick Building almost done (fictional project)...

Here are some more pics I took yesterday:

Meh... I really dislike Sunday evenings... so depressing.

Didn't do much this weekend.  'Cept rake leaves.  God, we have so many leaves from our maple out front... I filled three trash bags and I've barely scratched the surface.

Took my learner's permit test, but the VA SS system was down, so.. yea.  No permit for me.  8.gif

Finally got my pictures from Homecoming this weekend:

    Yea... enough rambling...

How about a round of Coke on me?

@MrCinatit: Well, we've been exploring in Grey County, which is the next one over. It is APPLE country. Even the air on the roads smells good. All that malic acid must be good for you too. If you live in Canada, Loblaws and other Weston stores carry the real thing. Probably Sobies/'IGA do too.

@SYM Productions: Wow. Nice pix of the 'Peg. I really like what they have done with the old grain exchange. My niece lives in Winnipeg and her mother, my sister, lives in Pinawa up in the Whiteshell. So, yes, even though I've never lived there, it has its merits. Food service completes. I hope you like this coffee cake, we've changed it to a marble cake with chocolate icing and rainbow sprinkles. The stuff on the plate is mocha syrup.

@ ACEfanatic: Well, this is a day for cool pix. That is a very nice shot of the pair of you. Cokes are always good. Maybe M. Veliger would like a Pepsi, though.

BTW, do they say meese in Canada or is that something you do, NOBody?

@hym: Yeah I know what you mean... probably more essays on the way for me... 45.gif

@Moose: 6.gif ... 44.gif ... Very nice cake, man I love this place!  As for the Red River College, that's nothing... I don't have pics of other angles and in better sunlight, but they took a whole block of buildings and brought them together into one big building... man I can't wait to BAT that one.
Anyways, what used to be an alley is now the glass-enclosed, 3 story main hallway.  Any class-rooms that don't have windows to the outside have windows that look out into the main hallway, so they get sunlight anyway.  46.gif Oh well... I don't feel like typing a thousand words now, so I'll wait for next weekend to roll around and I'll more photos. 1.gif
