Passenger trains not appearing in game.

Hey guys.

I have been having trouble with the game recently. Whenever I build a rail network, I build stations everywhere including the original train stations and ones downloaded off the STEX and my trains don't show up even when I have thousands of passengers using the lines. Is there any file that has been released which makes the trains disappear because I have tried the game with no plugins and the train works fine so it has to be something in my plugins folder but I don't want to go searching. It's way too hard considering the amount of files in it. If anyone could help me figure out what file(s) might be making it disappear, that would be fantastic. If I can't I guess I will have to go thru the game plugins by hand to figure out the problem.

I'd check for automat files

Look at the graphics setting Number of Cars/Sims. Try UDI'ing your trains (running them in UDI). Then, if they are default, fix it and get a good automata model from the STEX.

I can't UDI the passenger train in the game. The freight train I can, but not the passenger. And for the NAM automata file, I use the standard file (if that is what you mean)

Check your graphics settings. Should be high.

Failing that, you now get to review all your plugins, one at a time.

Well, I have tried it on low, medium and high so I guess it's time to go thru the plugins by hand. If anyone has had the same problem as me and fixed it, please tell me. Thanks.

Sounds like you have a mod that is suppressing the passenger trains. Search your plugins for any automata mods that may be installed. One file that I know of that does this was in a beta version of the tram mod created by Daeley, which has been superceded by Andreas Roth's release of the trams. Andreas Roth's upload has a file that suppresses the elevated rail trains instead of the passenger trains.

Thanks for telling me that. I still have that installed and forgot to take it out when the GLR was released. I'll take it out and then post back here the results.

Yes, It was the old Tram set which was causing all of the problems. Thank you so much. My trains are back! Now I don't have to sort thru every plugin. I knew there was a common cause of this problem and here it was!
