I am missing Plugin packs 0x8b27e50d and 0x3c3c68ad and I have not been successful in locating where to find them. I enjoy playing sim city4 with all the mods and I download items that I feel would fit great in my city. I had to change computers and before I completed that I backed up what I thought was everything. I have spent hours trying to reclaim some of the dependencies and items I was missing from cities I had created, but I am currently missing these packs. I do have certain cities that won't even open anymore and they just crash the game, so I feel those are just lost at this point. If anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated. I am not code savy when it comes to computers so if you are explaining to run a program, please break it down in terms a young person may understand.

Hello and welcome! I have a catalog I have been building and slowly expanding with the goal of indexing all of the instance ids (the plugin pack #s) to be able to identify their source, but unfortunately those ids are not indexed yet. >.<

However, there's still a few things we can try. If you see the brown box on a lot in your city, you can use null45's Query Tool UI Extensions DLL to find the path of the offending file. When you set up the mod, open the ini file and be sure to set the value LogBuildingPluginPath=true. It's set to false initially. Then in-game, activate the query tool, press and hold Ctrl+Alt+Shift and hover over the offending building, and then click. If you're doing it right, you'll notice the query changes to show a lot more values. After you click, open the SC4QueryUIHooks.log file in the root of your plugins folder, and you will see a file path which contains the building you clicked on. That's your culprit.

Lastly, if that doesn't work, there's always the tried and true Binary Search process. Tedious, but always effective.
