RHW Turning Lanes

I am a new SimCity 4 player and in the process of leaning the Network Add-on Mod (NAM).  I would appreciate any advice on how to add three turning lanes to the end of a RHW 4 ramp that intersects with an Ave 6 avenue.  An example of such a ramp is shown in the attached photo of a RHW Quick Change for L1 RHW 10s/8s x L0 Ave-6.  I have tried to find the tools to construct this ramp from scratch among the RHW Flex Turn Lane, The RHW Flex Ramps, and the RHW Puzzle Pieces for 1-Tile Networks.  The ramp I can do. So far, I have been unable to add the three turning lanes.  I have also been unable to reproduce the particular turning lanes shown in the photo for the Ave-6 and the clean interface between the ramp and Ave-6.  Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the wonderful world of SimCity 4!

For the time being, the turning lanes used to build this particular interchange are only being made available through the RealHighway's QuickChange Express (QCX) functionality, found in the QuickChange menu. This means they're not available separately in the RHW FTL menu, nor are they currently programmed to use outside of the QCX configurations. The time will come when we do make more use of these pieces, but for now (NAM 49) and the foreseeable future (NAM 50 and 51), do not expect added functionality to these turning lane pieces.

  • Thanks 2

Thank you for this information.  This is helpful insight.  Hopefully we will have in future versions of NAM all of the tools for creating and modifying the QCX interchanges ourselves.  I had been hoping to make a L1 RHW 10s/8s with median x L0 Ave-6 interchange with the turning lanes currently available in the QCX.  Perhaps some day.

That particular interchange you're talking about is available in the QCX options, for both L1 RHW-8S/10S and L0 RHW-8S/10S. Make sure to explore the QCX menu carefully, they involve several rotations (Home / End keys, not just TAB and SHIFT + TAB) of the piece to access all variants.
