Is a "crime off" mod possible?

As per the title, are there any mods to turn off crime etc?

I just want to build a city without worrying about civic buildings, police, fire, health.

I've been playing SimCity since the 80's on the Spectrum(!) but just wondered if it is possible

I'm not aware of such a mod that reduces crime to zero, but I believe it could be done via an ordinance fairly easy. I know it's possible for fire since I created one long, long ago called Cori's Fire Suppression Ordinance and it's just a revision of the Maxis Smoke Detectors one. Should you want that, I attached it in this post. It's after about the 5th pic there. *;)

With your goal in mind, let's see if anyone knows of such mods. If not, I believe we could create them.

I presume you'd want to get rid of garbage too. There is a mod that greatly accelerates its evaporation called the Landfill Eraser Mod. The intention is to clear up the garbage so one can de-zone a misbehaving landfill. I recall it says one should not use it all the time, but I can't imagine why it could not be.

Same idea for Health. I believe it could be done via an ordinance too.

But, it does seem likely there might already be mods I'm not aware of. I know we have several peeps who are City Painters so they may already have a solution.

One thing I'd wonder about is the higher growth stages and higher wealth needing a fire station or such within a certain radius in order to sprout and stay happy. I know Maxis made provision for that proximity setting, but I'm not sure if it's actually in use. (Just something someone can enlighten me about.)

Well, there is the one below but from the description, it still requires a police force.

Yeah. That one fixes bugs, but does indeed still need lots of police station plops. (CB and I created a more in depth version for MZ, but it still doesn't eliminate crime.)
