This has probably already been asked but unless im blind (possibility) i cant find it.

So i have downloaded a bunch of stuff and broke them all down into respective subfolders (stadiums, restaurants, buildings, etc). When i went into the game it seems they are all over the place (which i expected). Im not 100% sure on how to get say all my stadium downloads to appear under the entertainment submenu. Im keeping it simple right now and want to master this sorting business first before i even tackle making specialized submenus. Can someone help me with this?

You have to put them in their submenus manually. It's a bit hard. But the creator has made that one. Beware that you may have to spent a lil amount of time doing things on Reader and note that since it's recommended to use exemplar patching, you have to also install the resource hook mod and most importantly, you only need Building submenus property, corresponding to a respective submenu, on a piece of blank .dat.

I believe i have the resource hook mod installed. might have to get reader if thats all the case.

But from the folder that is labeled landmark from the submenus dll i installed contains 3 submenu.dat files. Do i create individual folders now for those files respectively and place all the corresponding mods i downloaded in those respective folders? or do i place all entertainment, government and religion mods i downloaded in the landmark folder without touching those 3 .dat files?

I apologize if im making things confusing or if im asking something thats already been asked im just super confused on this.

That's correct. You don't need to place your mods right next to the submenu .dats. What you need to do is to make another .dat containing exemplars just with the cohort (afaik, it's represented by Parent Cohort property) and the Building submenu property for each building you want to be in that submenu. You can combine those together in a single .dat, either by creating separate .dat and then merge them, or even better, put all the exemplars into one file.
