I'm just putting out a suggestion that RCT be added to Simtropolis (STEX) as especially RCT3 has quite extensive city-building capabilities which I enjoy using, and there isn't much left out there of the RCT fanbase.  This also should add quite a few more members to the ST community and for those of us who enjoy RCT we can hopefully accumulate and share user created content. A lot of the RCT stuff is gone from the Internet.  Simtropolis seems to now be the global go-to place for city builders with very limited activity elsewhere..

You might want to consider setting up a club, you can have a forums, downloads area's, etc.

Take a look at the one's i set up for SimCity 2 and 3 ... they can be public so everyone in simtropolis can use them or you can set it up so users have to join the club to download files from it

After I posted this I remembered that you had a city-builder website and moved stuff over to ST.  I downloaded some of it for SC3K.  It seems it would be best to have some content to share before anything else.  So I might just try to contact the owner of one the last RCT3 sites and then go from there.  A club seems too much to have to maintain.  I'd prefer to just have it added to the collection like you did so anybody can freely download it.   I took a picture of some RCT3 user construction to show what can be done with the game.  These aren't imported models, but you build them wall-by-wall within the game and can then export and share them.

A public club pretty much takes care of itself and because it's sitting on simtropolis all that stuff you would have to worry about if you were running your own website is dealt with by the simtrop admin staff, speaking of which

This was all down to @CorinaMarie hard work and @Cyclone Boom re the STEX, I just gave them the files and they were the ones that set everything up on the STEX :thumb:

OK.  I'll do that today.  Actually, we can start with creating tracks and buildings --the smaller files-- without having to go into the more complicated user-created content like rides and booths. There has to be quite a few RCT3 fans out there still.  There must be a large community for the open source version of RCT2 (OpenRCT2 project) as well because I'm still getting updates for it.

some of the information you have put in the club about page might be more visible as separate posts in the club

Yeah, I had an even longer intro and came back today to make it brief --like your intro.  This week I'm focusing on building a masterpiece park with some original coasters and buildings so that the club has some original content.  I'm glad you suggested this --I'm having fun with it.    I'm compiling relevant info that I'll add as posts and for a profile page later.
