Hi, I am looking for players to play with in one huge region. I am also very new.

Just to check, are you playing SimCity aka SimCity 2013 or really SimCity 4 (in which forum you've posted)? I ask, because SC4 doesn't innately have a multi-player option whereas SC2013 does.

There is this old topic (only if you are curious) since it's been inactive for a long while:

The creator posted the code and notes, iirc, so if that's part of your skill set, you might be able to revive it.

Come to think of it... one could probably play SC4 in a correspondence mode as well! 

Say, I play one region for a week, then I send it over e-mail to someone else.

But that would probably require interoperability on the plugin field and probably some common vision for the region's development.  Could be fun though.

The available multiplayer mode of SC4. 

There are experimental versions but they have been lost (at least the source code is available).

The best scenario for someone to make an installer to restore these things.
