Well. Baiyun Hotel is currently not in my list, but I completed the Crowne Plaza which is next to the building you mentioned.

Right at this moment. I am not considering BAT the building that is not on my list, just the purpose of not being so greedy. By the way, My list may contain some veranda and I already completed them, It is just a matter of when will I be able to release them.

Hi, community!

I have good news and bad news.

The good news is there are 13 more buildings confirmed to be released.

 

The bad news is after releasing Golden Business Center,  there will be no more buildings will be released publicly. This means Golden Business Center is the last BAT that will be released on Simtropolis, which also means this may be the last progress update on this thread.

Let's see things optimistically, there still have 38 BATs to go. Please enjoy it.

Thanks, but I can't BAT Shanghai Tower because it is too difficult to model the building with a curved shape. Especially its fish scales-like facade. 

If you recommend some buildings from Hong Kong, Macau, or Guangdong. I may consider to BAT them.

I think it is my third time going back on my word.

I originally think after finished PAFC, it would be the end of my BAT. But not, I still managed to finish 28 more BAT. It is already a miracle in the first place.

After I finished QiYunCourt(齊云閣) [ It is the last listed building in my list. After that, I will no longer force myself to complete anything ]. I gradually shift my attention to digital drawing. BATing will slowly become extremely slow-pace, which is the way I want it to be. 

 

Now I can spare more time on anything other than BAT.  Such as learning how Unawrp UVW actually works. (You know my old work only applies UVW Map and down)...Maybe developing a video game. (I know Unity)

I don't know. All of it is just an imagination. I don't know what is next. I only decide what I have to do at the moment.

 

As you see, I have a lot of models I haven't released. I will depute the enthusiast on Simtropolis to release my models. I only release some of it if I have time to do it. After some point, the Model release will be entering the Patreon schedule when everything is ready.

Sorry, I am not trying to be mean and I think you didn't get my message on my previous post. I have already decided to retire from BATing. If my Patreon is fully set up It may extend my BAT journey a bit longer, but retiring from BATing is only a matter of time.

So, please. At this moment just let me finish the rest of BATing journey. Peacefully.

Indeed. But the lanterns are just decorations hanging on the streetlight. They only put there during the Chinese New Year.

 

Estimate LOT size is >= 6x12 ( I gonna tell you there are a lot of mage-size buildings in Asia. )

I am still working on patrons behind the scenes... Not sure when will it be able to launch?

I think the only advantage of retiring is I can have more time to do something else. Such as learning Blender (Yes, I am trying to learn Blender which is a bit hard to use. Based on my modeling habit. )

And another advantage is I can put more time to detail my model.

At some point, I will release my own prop pack to STEX.

 

Retiring isn't that bad.

I don't know how SC4BAT actually works. So it is really hard to tell whether my method will actually work in your case?

My method concept is just works like in real life. Let the windows have transparent material, and place poly with self-illuminated material behind it.

That building is really scaring me.

 

This thing has already taken me three times as long as the time that I have taken in my old work. It already reaches The Sun .Co Ltd level of time costing.

Yeah. It is a Hongkong style Chinese Building. My city has a lot of it. I think it is because my city is literally located next to Hongkong. A lot of designers take a lot of inspiration from there.

Here is the thing. I only offer one membership option which name is "來自香港的愛".

The paid member can access my early-access buildings, which will be submitted to STEX after a certain amount of time.

 

For real, I don't think I can get a lot of money from this. Considering the community isn't as big as it used to be. The reason I still insist on starting a Patreon is that donation has become an attitude now. Whoever supports me I will provide the same amount of support back.

Hoping I can make BAT as long as possible. 

 

Extra detail:

1, The new BAT and unreleased BAT will be priority submitted to Patreon. When the BAT is fully tested and grown in the game.

According to the tradition in my family. As a return present, I must accept 1 BAT request for each paid member. However, due to the reason of I already gave out 4 request slots to my 1st~4th paid member last week, which has already reached my maximum capacity.
