Glitch when rendering region

Hello everyone!

My name is Alejandro, I'm from Argentina and I'm new around here. First of all, I want to apologize because my English isn't that good, but I'll do my best

I'm an old SC franchise player -I'm 36 haha- and I rediscovered SC4 a month ago. I read about this awesome forum and I already downloaded some great stuff.

That being said, I was trying to create my own region with a custom map that I created, but every time I load the .jpeg image I get this glitch, these "blank stripes" at the bottom of every single tile (see image). I also tried converting the image to .bmp; switching from 8 bit to 16 bit and vice versa, I tried with a map image that I downloaded too, and I also tried changing both "config" and map sizes. I always get the same error.

Oh! BTW, I'm a Mac user, so I upload the map by using the in game blue file explorer.

One more thing: it only happens when I create the large tiles. In medium and small size tiles, it seems to work fine, but I would like to build large cities.

Do you know what is it about?

You've done everything right for rendering the region. The trouble comes in when running the game at higher screen resolutions. If the vertical is 1200 or greater, then you will get those blue bands in the region view. (They won't affect the in city view.)

So, do the rendering at, say, 1280 x 1024 or whatever is the most similar for a wide screen. Just keep the vertical less than 1200 pixels.
