Hello everyone... I am new to the game, though I have played older versions of SimCity in the past... amazing the things you do in a pandemic... play old games!

I have a city that has about 130k people, about 1200 low wealth workers, and almost 9000 unfilled jobs. At the same time, I have about 5000 unemployed mid-wealth people. The unfilled low wealth jobs is a big problem because businesses shut down, and most troubling, my sewage treatment shuts down peroidically. I have lots of residential zoned, but almost all is medium density, even though every road is high density.

How can I either a) create more low-wealth, high density areas, or b) convert medium-wealth areas to low wealth?

Thanks!

You will have to keep an eye on the landvalue overlay to create areas for each range.
Parks are probably the easiest way to create zones for each range as they are grouped by wealth value... but if a zone is already mid or high wealth a lower tier park wont bring it down.

A bunch of placed buildings raise the land value around them to medium and sometimes high wealth. so try to place them in the right zones or they might screw up your land value map a bit.

I solved it by leveling a lot of parks. In addition to too few low-wealth locations, I had way too many medium-wealth locations with about 50 percent unemployment. Anyway fixed it with the bulldozer!

    Thanks!

    其实财富是可以控制的,比如当你在这一块规划好了区域,长出来的是(¥)类型建筑,然后取消这一区域之规划,这个时候你即使建设(¥¥¥)的公园,他们也不会有任何变化

(Google Translate: In fact, wealth can be controlled. For example, when you have planned an area in this area and the buildings of (¥) type grow out, and then cancel the planning of this area, even if you build a (¥¥¥) park at this time, they there will be no change)

Bulldoze buildings or turn off that raises land value, wait for residential to abandon then bulldoze that. You'll get low wealth residential. You can also use the region wall ask them to zone residential with low wealth.
