Hello

I have HP laptop notebook G62 with CPU Core i3 4Gb RAM operating windows 10 32-bit version with its latest update

After installing NAM38 and when trying it the game crashes when using realrail way addons. I have tried all things written her for Simcity4 crashes with no use 😥😥

Using a newer version of the NAM (v37 onwards), generally requires you patch your game with the 4GB Patch, however this won't work for you, since you have a 32-bit version of Windows. This means you may struggle to load the full NAM controller that is installed by default.

Since right now your problems only happen with RRW, I would suggest you open the following folder:

Network Addon Mod\2_Additional Network Features\RRW Tunnel and Slope Parameters\

Then temporarily remove the file RealRailway_SlopeParameters.dat and see if your problems go away. It could be you've a conflicting Slope Mod or that the extra load it places on your game is too much for it.

However, I think the real problem is more likely to be the full NAM controller I mentioned first. If removing the SlopeParameters file doesn't help, you'll need to build a smaller NAM controller using a tool that comes inside the .zip download with the NAM, the Controller Compiler. If you don't use any of the RHW features, this will result in millions of lines less code, needing to be loaded upon starting SC4. A full walkthrough of how to do this can be viewed in the following video (YouTube):

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

If you're using NAM 38, note it's no longer supported, since NAM 39 was released back on December 3rd (and is available here on Simtropolis).

The same things @rsc204 mentioned apply with NAM 39 as well, though one thing that might be able to simplify the process for you if you use NAM 39 instead of 38--if you're not planning on using the RealHighway (RHW) plugin, which is one of the biggest contributors to the NAM Controller's size, I have a pre-compiled NAM Controller for NAM 39 available here for that option set, which you can swap in for the one in Network Addon Mod\z_NAM Controller_RHD.

We're planning on implementing some sort of upfront means to install a smaller NAM Controller from the get-go with NAM 40, a release which is already well into development.

Just so we can be absolutely sure, can you confirm you've replaced the original controller with the one Tarkus attached or otherwise used the Controller Compiler to make a custom variant?

One more thing to check, do you have SC4Fix installed?
There was a bug left behind by Maxis, if you hover a Puzzle Piece, Starter Piece or similar network-tool over a TE lot, that will cause a CTD. TE lots can be either stations or lots where you can drag networks into or through them. As such, I consider this fix mandatory for all serious NAM users at the very least.

Do note, unlike most mods, .dlls really need to be placed into the '2nd' Plugins folder, that's inside the InstallDir, otherwise they may not load reliably.

If neither the smaller controller nor SC4Fix avoids your problems, please can you run us through an example of what you are doing leading up to a crash. Essentially, we need to be able to try the same thing you are, to both see if we can replicate the problem or otherwise look for possible causes. Screenshots can be very helpful too.
