Dakota Rapids

Greetings--

It's been about 10 years since I've posted on here but, over the pandemic, I've gotten re-interested in Cities Skylines and have worked on a few cities, including some companion cities to my past SC4 CJ's (Winchester and the Massopax Piedemont and The Massopax River Valley) which I may post on here, as well. My apologies for the graininess of the pictures -- I have everything set on low settings as I need to upgrade my RAM and video card. 

Anyhow, I'll be posting from a work in-progress based roughly off of the Black Hills region of South Dakota and Rapid City, but not a recreation by any means. 

More to come as we head south on US-87 towards the town of Dakota Rapids....

Hi all,

Here's an overhead shot focused on downtown Dakota Rapids. We the previous post stopped was just sound of the I-92/US-87 interchange. There are some small towns dotting the rest of the region along with farms just to the north off of US-87 and SR-167. Directly east across the Dakota River is some suburban development as well, centered around the intersection of I-92 Business, SR-42, and SR-167 (Not pictured).
