HDD Crash

Hallo Leute,

Ich habe einen HD Crash. Und ... mein letztes Update war vor einem Monat. ABER ... es gibt einige Dateien im Papierkorb, die ich wiederherstellen könnte.

Frage: Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, die verlorenen Dateien auf der Festplatte zu finden? Vermutlich waren es mehr als 1000 Dateien

Define HD Crash? Without knowing what's wrong with the drive, it's hard to know what options you have. The simplest step, buy a suitable 2.5" or 3.5" HDD Enclosure (festplatten Gehäuse), install the bad drive in it, then see if you can access it after plugging it in to a computer.

Hello @City_Slider. Sorry to hear something like this happen - it's a rare incidence but a very painful one.

As the last resort, you could try taking your HDD to a data-retrieval office. There are quite many services like this around here and, I'm sure, your place too.

So if all else fails, just get your hard drive to the data-retrieval experts. They might be able to give you a helping hand.

Well,

a new HD... Windows 7 and the Rest are installed. I can get it back Tomorrow at 10 AM Finaly i found 2 DVD´s with SC Files in there. So i only lost the latest Downloads.

And what are we learning? Save your Files here and there

Ah, you couldn't be more right! I have two external disks. My most valuable files are cloned to both.

I Orderet two USB Stick´s a´ 64 GB. That sould be enuff, to save important Files.

Yep. And ideally, make one a duplicate of the other to prepare for the eventual failure of one of them.

A new DVD Burner is on his way. Thats saver  The old one could only handle CD´s., DVD´s wont work since 2 Years... ohoh. But after 5 Years, thats normal.
