Water Mod Not Working

Hello,

I'm having trouble with the water mod.  It doesn't matter which mod I try, nothing works.  I like the blue water, but when Im playing a region, it defaults back to a grayish color.  I tried several mods and deleted them.  Nothing seems to work.  Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum.

What you have described may not be related to any water mod you have installed. Keep in mind: The region view doesn't change merely from changing the water mod. It only changes when you save a city (when playing the city itself). Try this: Enter the affected cities, save once and then leave again to the region and see if it has changed.

@Refuse  Hi, maybe you have installed the sudden valley terrain mod (as suggested in the description of your map (Cadia By Teh Barbarian Herd stex32554), if so try to remove in the zzz_terrain_sudden_valley folder the SV Water file.

I think @gwada971 has the right answer. It sounds like you have another water mod installed without realizing it, which is causing the gray water to override the water mod you're trying to use. The two solutions would be to either (1) delete the gray water mod entirely, or (2) rename the blue water mod so that it loads after the gray water mod.

I had this happen a while ago. It was a PegPond Tahoe transparency plop water that was defaulting everything to Tahoe. Pull your plugins and put them back in a half at a time till you find the culprit. The gray water doesn't even look familiar to me.
