Getting Sim Broadway back in Unlimited

Hi,

I wrote on my website a tutorial that includes several new ways to get Sim Broadway back in SimCity 3000 Unlimited, but I'm not sure if it's advertising...

Thanks for posting the link to your tutorial, and you can now get SimCity 3000 on GOG

As luck would have it, a couple of years ago I received a retail CD copy of the original SimCity 3000 as a Christmas gift, the giver having no idea that I already have the retail CD and GOG versions of Unlimited.  Consequently, I was in a position to try out your little trick, and I'm glad to say that it works quite nicely.  Thanks!

Nice work, it seems it works quite fine with the music, especially since your last edit of this article @HackDown where this time all songs really work.

If you weren't aware of the problem, it's that some of the track file names were wrong when you only had the SC3U files at your disposal.

But now the article includes more details.

 

Except, all people having only Unlimited may never be able to try this little trick out, so if you really want that song, you Unlimited player, just get the SimCity 3000 Demo and copy 3kg2.xa from there.
