Setting up for the game to run in Window or Fullscreen Mode

 Hello everyone,

I need a little help getting the Game to run in Window or Fullscreen Mode. First I am running Windows 10 64 bit on an HP Pavilion Notebook Laptop. Graphics card is AMD Radeon R 6 ( there is no way to change settings to select to turn on Fullscreen in the Graphics). The game is opening with the 2 black strips on the Right and Left side of the screen. I had the game install in the C (systems drive) instead of Program Files (86). I have added to the target the -w and -f and also tried -r - CoustomResolution:enable -1600x900x32 while the game was installed on the C drive (was installed after the -CPUCount:1 entry was there from the install) removed the -f and entered -w, and there was no change in the way the game starts. I thought it might be because the game installed in the C drive, might be the problem, so I removed my Plugins and Region folders and deleted the game and installed it to the C:/Program Files (86). I changed the target from the  -f  to  -w, there was no change in how the game loads, it loaded with the 2 strips on both sides of the screen. The only time the game will show up in the Window mode is when I close the game  ( it shows up in a Window screen then closes).

Is there any way to get the game to start in the Window or Fullscreen Mode?

Hi luvs2draw,

First of all as a quick recap, here is the command which sets a custom resolution:

-CustomResolution:enabled -r1600x900x32 -f

The parameter -f is to toggle full screen, whereas the -w tells the game to start in windowed mode.

I notice a spelling error and a difference in the syntax when you typed:

For all of these being commands sent as instructions upon starting SC4, also just make sure you're adding them after the closing quote for the game's executable. So as an initial step I suggest it's worth double checking you've got the options added in the format it expects, as these commands have no margin for error. *;)

Thank you Cyclone Boom will try what you suggested and see if that works. The typing wasn't done in error but from what I had found from I found on-line. I will type it in the way you have shown in you reply.
