Hey guys,

I did a google search on the availability of the lot editor for mac, and I can't seem to find the right answer. Is there some type of Lot Editor for macs? If so, where could I download it?

EDIT: I also have Wine, so would using that help at all?

Since I'm not a Mac user take this with a grain of salt. *;)

It does seem I've read that a lot editor was never made for the Mac. However, since Wine is a Windoze emulator it seems ti could be possible to use the regular lot editor. I'm only guessing and I have no idea how you would go about testing it.

Hopefully some Mac gurus will pop in with a better answer.

No Mac versions of either the Lot Editor or other Maxis game tools exist, all are Windows only. For the most part the same is true of the 3rd party applications that the community has released also. Using WINE you can potentially work around this issue within MacOS, but it would be far easier to use Bootcamp, Parallels or similar and run them in a native Windows environment.
