SimCity 4 rotatable SPAR roads?

Hello. sorry if its been asked before, i couldnt find any info. I havent played in a long time and i decided to try mods, NAM, spam and spar. seems to work correctly together but when i try to place one of the Spar roads, which i know are essentially cosmetic, they dont seem to want to line up correctly. for example i have 2 farms next to each other with space in between for a road. when i try to place the sections, they dont line up down the road, they only want to line up across the farms. other sections do the same thing. anything i can do?

Hi TheCrazier, welcome to Simtropolis and back to SC4.

With the item selected from the applicable game menu, rotating can be achieved using either of the following keys:

Home  =  Rotates item 90° clockwise.
End  =  Rotates item 90° counter-clockwise.

This I believe works for SPAR roads or any ploppable items in the game, and so could be useful for changing the orientation of other specific networks or lots.

Thank you. worked like a charm. the shortcut article is also useful, i was wondering how to change the speed without hitting the actual icons. the shortcuts will be much help. thanks again

To change the game speed with a hotkey you'll need to press <Ctrl - 1> (Slow) or <Ctrl - 2> (Medium) or <Ctrl - 3> (High) and/or <Ctrl - Pause> (Pause/Play on low speed) ingame.
