Some props created with the Lot Editor are missing while in game.

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to create my first parks with the Lot Editor,  just to learn how to use it. Everything ok but, when I place those parks in game, some props are either missing, or they are all there when I place the first park then, after a while that I'm playing and I place other instances of the same park, some props I've created don't show up (but they are all still there in the park I placed at the beginning).

I'd like to understand why this happens: I am quite frustrated with it, also because I can't find any explanations out there. ????

Thank you if you can answer this rather tricky question and excuse me for my English (I am Italian, and this is the first time I write here!).

If you switch to the zones-view and back again, do your props reappear?

No, it doesn't work, but few minutes ago I've noticed something quite strange and I took some pictures of that.

Here is the lot in the Lot Editor, with all its props:5ad65c92c5585_20180417_2217051.thumb.jpg.0b4f82205b59e177807793fd9d465816.jpg props:

Once I play and place the lot, it immediately looks like this:

    After some seconds this happens:

I put a second instance of the lot next to the first one, but it hasn't got the three props as in the beginning:

.....and after few seconds even the one with all the tree props, doesn't show them up anymore (they vanish in front of my eyes, as they had appeared) :5ad6622815eb5_20180417_2227451.thumb.jpg.6ef0056becc12b5765ddead7b59a0442.jpg

Can somebody tell me why this happens?

I don't recognise the tree props, but looks like you are using seasonal tree props. Meaning that tree props have different models which change for season. Winter, summer, autumn.

SC4 is not built for seasonal variation, so modders are using a trick with timed props. This means that a tree prop or other flora has between 2 - 4 models which alternate in the game. To me it look like that you have only summer version in the lot. You must add other versions in the lot or use non-seasonal version.

Are the tree props by Girafe or CP? They are the main creators of the seasonal flora. But I think that both have included non-seasonal versions.

Yes, the tree props are  CP HackberryProp 1_11_spring.  They actually appear in spring and disappear in the other seasons, that's right. *

I've tried to choose other trees and it happens this:

...so another strange thing! Some trees are there when I put the lot far from the road, and missing if I put it in front of the road...Maybe this is normal, I don't know..

In the end, I have chosen other trees and until now it works fine...
