Here are some pictures I took while backpacking in New Mexico two summers ago, in 2003.  There were taken with disposable cameras, so forgive the crappy quality.

<ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Phimont1.jpg align=baseline>

Because I am a loser, I named them--this one is Triumph at Window Rock.

<ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/Phimont%202.jpg align=baseline>

And this is New Mexico Sunrise.

If there is some interest, I will post some more.  I just got a digital camera for Xmas, and might go around searching for cool stuff to shoot, or dig into my old files of junk.

Here are some pics I took up at AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin (worlds largest aviation event) this year.

I have tons more. All in all I took about 1500 photos. However, I stored the photos on a DVD disk and have kind of misplaced it! These were a few of the photos I did have stored on my computer:

Here is a pic of the only and last public appearance of SpaceShipOne before it was sent to be displayed in the Smithsonian

This is Virgin Atlantic GlobalFlyer. It flew all the way around the world on one tank of gas (1st and only to do so).

Those are some great sunset photos toward the end, hummer.

Okay, so I showed you some happy Detroit pictures on page 1. Here are the ones that will make you sad...or happy if you like the sort of thing.

I decided to explore an abandoned 8 story woodframed building downtown that had all floors collapsing into the center. (Of course, I didn't realize this before I went in).

Remain of a factory just hours after the fire. The area was all taped off, but I managed to get behind it to get photos. Little did I realize the ground beneath me was still on fire, and got burned - ouch!

Wow, that's a great photo. At first I truly didn't think it was real. I'll probably post some photos of me at Washington, D.C.

Yay! Finally a place I can post pictures I've taken with my new camera.

These pictures were taken with the Canon S2IS. No editing was applied, although they were taken in manual mode. They are a bit fuzzy because they were taken with a slow shutter speed without a tripod. (Kneeling-with-one-knee-to-rest-camera-on shooting technique)

All the images link to Imageshack, I felt they should get their kudos. 2.gif

sunrise43sa.jpg width=450 alt=Image Host

sunrise58ai.jpg width=800 alt=Image Host

The bottom one in my list looks great as a desktop because it isn't fuzzy at all. PM me and I'll send you the original 2048 x 1536 image via email. The filesize is 1.32MB.

heh, its an old thread but maybe is better that if what your posting is on topic and its not a project type thread that has died that its good to recycle them instead of make new ones...
