These all sound great! I'd like to thank you for taking your time to do these for us. I will follow the instructions when I get around to doing this later. I've always wanted to have new things in RH, so this is great for me. 4.gif

The files from the BSC Mac Archive do not require File Juicer. Only the files on the STEX that end with .exe require it.

Just drop the BSC Mac Archive files in your plugins folder and you're done. 4.gif

Where can I find the BSC SFBT Street Tree Mod for Macs? It doesn't seem to work in file juicer. EDIT: Never mind, I found one.

Kboom, did something happen to homepage.mac or did you delete your page?? I tried it and it said, "User has not published a file sharing template."

Wasn't sure if you were aware of it or not

Well, I'm new to all this, but I'm interesting in finding BATs (?) for farming, commerical and just more general variety in my lots. I'm only interested in stuff that 'grows'. I think thats the term used, things that develop natural in a zoned area, not manually chosen and placed by me. It seem that this list was the best way to get mac compatible stuff. Is there an alternative? I don't want to bother with .exe files from the exchange.

I'm a veteran player from SC3K Unlimited of 4 years then SC4 since '05, but I'm in the same field with marc, I'm looking to highlight the 1894 and 1940 themes with Victorian BATs and Lot buildings to replace the civic buildings. Its real hit or miss sometimes here, downloading what sometimes turns to be .exe files and numerous dependencies. I hope to build a core set of modds and modules that work and structurally improve my gameplay.

Well, I went ahead and did bother with the .exe files. But if anyone could point me in the direction of some large sets for RCI zones, that would be cool. I'm looking for more variety at all levels, and not a long list of single skyscrapers that I haven't reach the ability to get yet in my region.

It looks like it just wont work anymore. I will PM some people, see if it can get up and running again. However, there is still the FileJuicer option.

All of these files can either be downloaded off the stex, or SC4D, and then put through filejuicer.

I think the archive isnt working anymore. Which is a shame, but we have since found other ways to use files. If you ever come across an .exe file, which most of the bsc files were, then it's best to use the file juicer.

There is a stickier topic about it with a link to the program in the first post.

Yeah, its not up any more. Its a shame, but most of their stuff can be found on the STEX, and if you find that it downloads as a .exe file, then check out filejuicer. There is another stickied topic dedicated to it which has links and instructions.

To the Mac Community:

I've set up a BSC Mac Archive which can be found here:

BSC Mac Archive

All BSC releases uploaded here will be "Manual Install" Zip files. As of this post, there are only 2 files on the STEX from BSC that are exclusively ".exe" installed, Usakos Church and St. Martins Church. Usakos Church can be downloaded now, and as soon as I receive St. Martins in the Zip format, I will post it.

Please read the accompanying "Read Me" files for installation instructions and other information regarding each BAT/Lot. EDIT: Actually, installation instructions will be here.

If you have problems or questions regarding the BSC Mac Archive, please post them here, as BSC has no direct involvement with the download page.

If you have problems or questions regarding installation that are not answered by the "Read Me" file EDIT: in this thread, please post them here. There are numerous people here in the Mac community who I am confident can help.

In the next few days (or maybe weeks), I would like to pull together some of the excellent information from the various forums, such as plug-in folder management, textures and props, etc., to help get all of us in the Mac community up to speed on these issues. I hope everyone will contribute to this by answering questions and sharing their knowledge.

Thanx

Correct. And this is one we don't expect to ever be restored.
