How to put decals on top of other decals

Hi,

I'm wondering how I can manage to put decals on top of other decals. As you can see in the picture, I have some tile decals in front of that church, now I want to put some planters for trees on top. However, the planter is placed below, so he vanishes. Same goes e.g. for parking markings and the like - they alway are hidden by the tile decal. I'm using the "Move it" mod, however the normal "page up/down" for adjusting the height wont work here.

Any help appreciated :-)

They change order randomly depending on the camera angle. There is no known way to control the order or make it consistent.

Did you experiment with the different decal shaders? I know that there are at least two.

Yes, the other one is solid, it doesn't support semi-transparency, so the use is limited.

But it doesn't matter anyway, if you mix solid and blend or the same type, it's still random and changes depending on the viewing angle.

Youre sure? I use a grass decal over the build in stone decals and after some testing I found a way to make the grass stay above the decal. Can't remember how, but one of the props settings in asset editor does the job.

I couldn't be bothered myself, so I use the mod,  but the first thing that comes to mind is make special districts, using policies,  for educated and uneducated workers.

Thanks for your hints .. actually, Im doing this In-Game, not in the Asset editor. Is there an advantage by doing this in the asset editor? Apart from making it easy ploppable, but with regard to the maximum prop number possibly?
