SC 3000 Plugin

I downloaded a largish plugin for SC 3000 here in ST. But there isn't a readme file or any instructions. Worst, SC 3000 doesn't have a plugin folder, either.
I got SC 3000 from GOG.org and tried going there for the manual and/or docs but as a few hours ago, the site is corrupted with a language that I can't change.

EDIT : I goofed again. This message should be posted in the "Can't Find It? ..." thread.

From left to right : the Business Center with the "Arche" in the middle, then the Eiffel tower,
followed by Napoleon's tomb in the "Invalides", next is the cathedral of "Notre Dame"
and the church of "Sacré Coeur", after it is the "Arc de Triomphe" and last is the Bastille column.

All plugins for SC3KU have to be placed inside the plugin folder located here: C:\GOG Games\SimCity 3000 Unlimited\Apps\Plugin. If there isn't a "Plugin" folder there, just create one yourself and drop all the files inside it and you should be good to go.

Oh thank you my friend ! But, drop the folders or just each files. That sounds drastic. I mean, a plugin folder inside a plugin folder ?
    (I haven't played SC3000 for ten years, so I'm a little rusted.)

Haaa ! Just went to the GOG site you mentioned and it didn't work... Grrrr
    Shouldn't it be in the SC3000 default site ? Like "C:\SimCity 3000 Unlimited\Apps"  ?

Yes the folders inside the folder and the folder name has to be identical to the file name

You should have a folder with two files in it (.PIN and .DAT file), move that folder to Apps/PlugIn/<plugin name> ....  the <plugin name> is the filename shared by the .PIN and .DAT file

For general info, don't forget the original SC3K does NOT support Plugins although DLL files can be added on the root folder of SC3K and will be loaded when the game starts (e.g.: the money trainer for SC3K)
