[ERROR MSG] Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Alright, so I got this error message today. I did download a couple of mods and after I was playing with the mods for about 40 minutes, the error message came up that essentially broke my game. Whenever I click "OK" or the little X in the corner, the error message closes, but then comes back in a matter of seconds. The only way to close the game is through task manager. If you would like the mods I recently downloaded, I will be happy to link those in another post. Anyway, here's the error message:

Object reference not set to an instance of an object [System.NullReferenceException]

I always get that message too when trying to convert growables into ploppable using RICO. THE only way I have gotten around it is that I don't mess with the drop down arrows. I keep every residential, it's really dumb and I don't know how that is going to affect the gameplay, but I don't build cities for function, I just like replicating real cities, so to me it doesn't matter. But if anyone could explain what I am doing wrong that would be great. Like for example, whenever I try and do it "the right way" all my residential homes and buildings work fine, but as soon as I try the others like commerical, office or industry for some reason I don't know what I am doing wrong. I tend to guess that the UI category and levels I am choosing are not right and then causes an error in the game. Anyone know how to fix this or else I am just going to keep doing it the way I have been. But just kinda makes it a pain because I have to scroll thru a bunch of blank grey boxes in my residential list to find what i am looking for. But anyway, to the author of this post, that's how I got around it if you don't get it to work.

    I also get this upon loading into the save:

    Custom Assets: 506284500.Trailer0: Duplicate prefab name
    Custom Assets: 829320660.Aviation/Century Station_Data: NetInfo missing [BrokenAssetException]

    You have a duplicate, so delete one instance of Trailer0.

     

    And clear the LocalRICOSettings.xml file in your Cities Skylines common folder. Just delete the file, then load the game up again, it'll create a new instance and this should be fine.

    When I search for "LocalRICOSettings.xml" in file explorer nothing comes up. I manually searched the Cities: Skylines folders in both C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines and C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cities_Skylines. Nothing came up. Also, when I search for Trailer0 in content manager, nothing comes up. @Gurning_Chimp

    And as a mention to this, I took care of Custom Assets: 829320660.Aviation/Century Station_Data: NetInfo missing [BrokenAssetException]. The only thing that i bothering my game is Custom Assets: 506284500.Trailer0: Duplicate prefab name.
