With the new update, I noticed that many of my vehicles are flickering, even turning completely invisible if I zoom in close enough. From afar the vehicles seemed alright.

Same problem here. I've tried to monitor various discussions and eliminate known mods that are "broken" (like Dynamic Resolution), but it still happens. If I zoom in too far, vehicles flicker and some turn invisible- just like Dejected Angel described. Anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this?

I haven't noticed this with vehicles, but I've seen trees become superbright or vanilla trees on vanilla assets flicker at a certain distance, seems like just before the lod kicks in.

I've also noticed flickering on the lod of train tracks, on the gravel part. Also on some building lods.

I'm not sure what causes any of this.

Absolutely the same. This flickering drives me crazy!

Do you have any of Matt Crux's (aka Shroomblaze) semi-trucks in your game? Some of them were causing vehicle flickering for me. Once I removed them, my game was back to normal.

These are the ones I had problems with: Safmarine, Honda, Toyota, Hitachi, Bridgestone, Pepsi, and Coca-Cola

I unsubscribed from Matt Crux's (ShroomBlaze) vehicular assets and loaded up my game- no flickering. Really hope he fixes them- all his stuff is just great. (Without Crux and a few other modders like Bloody Penguin and Samsam TS, I probably would have left this game a while ago.)

Could the tree flicker issue be associated with assets and parks and what not that utilized the probability prop changer a while back?  It seems a lot of the flickering occurs when I plop a park that already has tree/prop assets on it.  A new map doesn't have that going on but once I've plopped a park form the work shop that has a prop/tree - not sure which one(s) it is yet, I started to get the flickering trees.

Flickering trees are from the random tree rotation mod.

Ah.  So weird it only affects custom assets and not every tree on the map.  Oh well.  RTR is too valuable for me to get rid of.  Flickering isn't that bad I guess....  :)

For me the regular trees didn't flicker in most cases but they were bright at a very specific distance, very weird.

They did flicker when they were part of a building, the vanilla buildings. I didn't do any investigation and I didn't have any custom trees at the time, so I'm not sure.
