Are the Servers Still Running?

I ask this because it's been over 3 years since the game has been released, Maxis has officially been shut down, and one would think that the game doesn't have much of a thriving online community of players left (of course, I could be wrong about that; I HAVE been out of the loop for the past six months).

I'm not sure if EA has given any updates regarding the game recently that pertains to this topic, either. I've checked SimCity's official website and it looks like they haven't.

Yeah, I am playing on NAE2 server.  Servers are up and running.  Just make sure you select multi-player as single-player puts you in offline mode.

Hello there, as of November 24th of 2016. Yes the servers are online, you can donwload/install the game and update it without any problems.
