wow, you really spent quite a bit of time laying everything out. I think you've done an awesome job! I really like the way you laid out the canals and terraformed the river banks and then filled everything in. I know from experience that it takes quite a bit of time to get everything lined up right and to find the right piece and of course to keep the ground even throughout. your government/assembly area also looks really impressive (and imposing!). No doubt it will keep the citizens in line.

Keep up the good work! 40.gif

Hmm, Troy looks like it's turning into Venice! I can't imagine how much work went into those last two updates.

I agree -- nice use of canals. You must be very practiced with them to integrate them so well into the city.

the truth about the trojan horse was that the romans made it up to show how iggnorant and foolish the trojans were the truth was there was a great battle in which the romans lost 1.7 million people and finally defeated troy history also show us that the trojans wouldnt have accepted the horse even if it was real as the trojans were given a gift by the sarasins that killed 15 people it was poision wine which was made poision with plant juices so in conclusion the horse is simply a fairy tale - this is what i learned in history class in college and by the way a large wooden horse i never belived

I don't think you meant to say the Romans wanted to make the Trojans look ignorant and foolish, as, according to Vergil's Aeneid (a Roman epic), the Romans are offsprings of the Trojan hero Aeneas. Therefore, I think it would be quite strange for the Romans to depict the Trojans as ignorant and foolish.

Though, any evidence regarding the Trojan War is arguable, since the only image of the war is held in the eight Greek epics, where only Homer's the Iliad and the Odyssey survived (as well as one synopsis of all eight epics). The epics were written long after the Trojan War as well, so, nothing is concrete in the existence and culture of Troy.

btw, nice cj Vitruvius (i see you have used some of my BATs). It's an elegant modernisation of an ancient city, gj.

Excellent couple of updates Vitruvius. I like the mixture of ancient and modern buildings, that's very interesting and a very nice touch. I love the setup for the new parliament building, very impressive. It blends in perfectly with the ancient architecture nearby.

Man, I'm glad this CJ is back! I love how you showed your expansions, and the canals and harbor are so well integrated into your city. Great job and can't wait for more!
