I will ALWAYS be in debt to this community. The recent RRW content and IRM expansions have really spiced up my cities. THANK you all for making SC4 the best City Builder ever built.

Its been over a year since I really played some SC4 and several years since I played it more than occasionally. I am ecstatic to see that the community is still alive and well after all these years. It makes me happy to see that some of the familiar faces like A Nonny Moose are still around.
I had the hankerin' to play again, it started with me wanting to look at the old cities I made, and now here I am downloading plugins like the old days! It is sad to see the loss of Sim Peg though...

Welcome back.  A lot of the SimPeg material was moved to the STEX in a separate section.  Also check on City Builders.

I have to say that it has picked up a bit, i have been playing some SC4 the past few days, doing some lot editing and what i enjoy about SC4 is you can build almost any type of city and it can look pretty real, there is so much more detail than in the city simulators that have come since.

While i don't play as often, i can still see myself inserting my original disk from 2004 and playing a few hours in a years time.

Well, friend, I think you might have to get a digital copy soon, because if you are a Windows users, the CD won't work past XP anymore without a lot of messing about.  Origin seems to be willing to allow you to pick this up if you call and prove you are a legitimate holder of the game.

I will release my Nexis MFP1 (Modern Farm Props) set by the end of next month (April). More than 600 new models, maybe even more after a few weeks past this with an Addon. That should alter the farming style of SC4 generously.

You can follow the development and releasing on SC4D......

You still can use a CD copy on windows 7 or 8 by just blocking one windows update (the one preventing the cd protections to work).

Anyway, on another subject but still about SC4, I take this opportunity to say that I'm still willing to give the 3D models of my Skylines buildings to a person who would turn them into SC4 Bats...
