Nice work, mate!
Also hilarious to see I'm not the only one who uses 'Hurr durr' as dummy text :D

That reminds me: I also use 'Hurr durr' in logged mod debug output to make it easier to find my output in the log with Ctrl-F, but I really wish there were some decent debugging tools available (like attaching it to a process in Visual Studio), so I don't have to restart the game and load the game after each tiny bugfix attempt (which is helped tremendously by the Loading Screen mod's vastly improved loading times, but still such tedious work).
So how do you guys fix vague issues like object reference errors that don't offer any additional information? If thoroughly studying the error and the code it pertains to doesn't help (which happens more frequently than I'd like to), I usually resort to trial-and-error by strategically adding debug.log calls until I've finally pinpointed the location of problem, which can then be resolved. It works for me, but it's far from ideal: I reckon that with proper debugging tools productivity could be tens of percents higher than it is now.... So how do you fellow modders deal with such issues?

So I've been trying out an alternative library for method patching, so multiple mods can detour/patch the same rendering method (which would solve the problem @Judazzz had with individual highway sign replacement for vanilla signage, and conflicts with mods like Network Skins) . It seems to work alright with the texture replacement technique that Mark-a-Route uses. Main remaining problem is going to be multiple mods doing the exact same thing ( The library author indicated that some of the use cases aren't going to be really possible ).

That sounds pretty interesting, but for the time being I've given up on instance-level texture replacing, because I simply don't have the motivation (wasted so much time on it already, getting me nowhere) or time for it (new job, which means lots of studying, and other mod projects I'm working on). Perhaps I'm going to give it another stab in a while, but I strongly advice against anyone holding their breath.
