Upload limits on STEX?

I'm currently trying to update my TGN mod with newer files. The existing 10 files I previously had available have been reduced to 5. In total I think the new files should actually occupy less space than before. Yet not 1/2 way through, I've run into a problem, it seems I can only upload 4 MB now :/.

Can someone explain what the rules are here, is this just because I'm trying to upload it all at once? Right now I'm stuck in the middle of updating descriptions and everything, it's very frustrating :(.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

Hi rsc204,

I've taken a look at your upload and could see the 5 files listed:

Do you see anything different than the above?

However, if selecting "Save Previous Version", it looks like the uploader will only retain the previous 5 files (I can try increasing this). Maybe this could be related...

Is there an error when trying to upload additional files?

Actually I deleted those before trying to add the new ones. Only it still only offered me 4MB for the new files. Therefore I didn't save the changes.

This time I've deleted 4 of the 5, so I could save the changes (as one file needs to be present). However, as you can see, the total size allowed remains as before at 4MB when I re-enter the file.

And congratulations to the 11 people who failed to read "*** UPDATE IN PROGRESS, PLEASE COME BACK LATER *** " and have downloaded the old version in the meantime!

The text with 4MB looks like the attachment dialog on the post editor. I think this is for adding files / images directly into the description. Currently this has a total quota of 100MB, and allows 4MB per item as shown.

Does using the blue "Choose files" button make any difference? This should be separate from the attachments.

Whoops, you know I think you've worked out my mistake here "whistles". It seems to be working now, thanks for your help.

In other news, it seems Gobias' Terrain mods (and all his work) is no longer on the LEX. This is a sad development :(.

Glad it worked for you. :)

Oh dear, Gobias made some great stuff. Just read the topic at SC4D.

Hopefully it's just a mistake, that would be a big loss indeed. And since this is the focus of your mod...
