Hello..has anyone ran into the situation in my screenshot?  I reinstalled the game today along with all my mods and can't seem to figure out what's causing the issue I'm getting in region view.

Any ideas?

If you open that tile and save it, does the problem go away?

When you rendered the region, what resolution was your monitor set to?  Anything greater than 1999 vertical invokes a known problem.  If this is possibly a newer manifestation of this bug, try a render at a lower density.  Once rendering is finished you can return to your desired resolution.

No luck so far...my original monitor resolution was 1280 x 800.  I dialed it down to 1024 x 768, deleted the region and rendered it again, the issue is still happening unfortunately.

What renderer are you using to play the game? You can check/set this from the settings in the games region view. The options are Direct X, OpenGL and Software. Try all three (you need to restart the game after changing), it may be your hardware has incompatibilities with Direct X or OpenGL.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

I think i misunderstood...what do you all mean by renderers?  I created the region by coloring in the config file in the region using Microsoft paint.

In settings I just see hardware and software as the options.

Yes it's those options "hardware / software" I forgot OpenGL isn't selectable in-game. Try switching from hardware to software or vice-versa and see if saving the city fixes the glitch. I've known this to happen when the render for the game is not fully compatible with your hardware. To enable OpenGL (doesn't work on all setups), you'd need to enter the command switch "-D:OpenGL"

In your shortcut that opens the game, right click.  Select properties, and on the page you get you should see a text box labelled Target.  In the text box after the final quote mark enter a single space (bar) then -d:opengl

Then click on Apply or OK to close this page, and try your game.  If it crashes or things look really funny, simply go back and undo this.

If you will tell me the URL of the region you are trying to render (from the STEX, I assume), I will try it with my system.  I can diagnose most problems with these regions.

That seemed to fix it...I appreciate everyone's help with this, thank you!

Nonny...this region's not on the STEX, it's one I created from scratch.

Hmmm.  That's OpenGL by the way.  Spelling really matters here.  Perhaps you just don't have the right version of DirectX.
