Well, the monorail at DisneyWorld goes through a building but that is to get to the stop inside the building.   I haven't seen in in a highway before.

We can inspire others through witness so that one grows together in communicating. But the worst thing of all is religious proselytism, which paralyzes: “I am talking with you in order to persuade you.” No. Each person dialogues, starting with his and her own identity. The church grows by attraction, not proselytizing.    - Pope Francis

Ahhh.....yes, the famous "house on the road" bug.

/idealbb/files/houseonroad.jpg

Does anyone know of how to fix it?  I tried to Query the building....obviously a bad idea cause it immediately crashed to the desktop, but its also impossible to bulldose it.  I think there must be a way to get rid of it without destroying the entire city.

I've never seen a building do it that frglantly, but a number of cities have buildings built over roads and rail lines... It's just that the city "street" level has risen over the years so that you don't see it. It is however a big problem when it comes to architecture, as it's hard to build a highrise when you can't send pylons to bedrock. (Yielding some very interesting cantilevered buildings, like the Boeing building in Chigaco)

Very interesting building though.

Doesn't the East Side Highway in New York City go under many Highrises?

Why, yes it does. This is because once upon a time it wasn't a highway, but more of an 'avenue'. There are places where cross streets are fenced off where there used to be an intersection. And over the years, since space in Manhattan is so valuable, lots of buildings have been built hanging over it. Including the United nations. It's a fun highway to drive down when there's no traffic.

35.gifStill, there arent any buildings built in the middle of the highway blocking traffic....35.gif

Since nobody has headlights, they just turn around and avoid this tunnel.

I'm wondering if I should have even spent the money on this bridge at all, being that they can fly and all.

Rain nor sleet nor snow, nor highways??? Can stop these guys.

Hope you like these.

I don't think anyone has done this before, so I will start it.
I think it would bad ass for anyone to make up their own caption to some of these pics. I know there are some clever people out there, what can you come up with.

Don't get me wrong, I think arbor day is great and all, but don't you think the activists went a bit overboard here?

Ok, I beleive i've got that side door figured out. When you walk out that door, you fall on the shrub, which in turn sends you flying through the air, landing in the driver's seat of your car through the sunroof. (just make sure you parked you car there that day!)24.gif21.gif24.gif21.gif24.gif21.gif24.gif21.gif24.gif21.gif24.gif

There are some houses with doors on the second floor in Japan where it snows heavily. People use the doors to go outside when the snow is so deep that the first floor is buried.

I used to have an avenue where people went and never got out.... They were "turning around" on the avenue 200000 times. The house was abandoned quickly though.
