The fix that's available in the Mods section is in the old KBI format, which requires you to actually modify one of the game files. I just released a new version yesterday that's a simple Dat plugin. You'll find it in the Modd Squad - Modding - Open Discussion forum, attached to a post with the title "Game Coding Errors Patch Version 2 Released!"

It should be in the Mods section soon, though.

Also, I'm not sure if you can fix it just with the lot editor or not. I don't know enough about how it works, but I suspect the glitch will remain. Sure, you can create new lots on which it will work properly, but I don't think that will completely prevent the game from using the old, buggy lots. But again, I don't know enough about the lot editor itself to be sure.

no i didnt do it on purpose.. been having a real hard!! time trying to place this damm hydro plant. its really hard to do it though. so i might go into the lot editor and change some things around.. and i JUST found out that a foundation cant be to huge/tall but in my pics, there is NO foundation, the entire lot slops with the mountain, this is something i dont want, i have to play around with the foundation threshold and min/max values. but i dont understand them, with the current pics, my values where:

Foundation threshold: 30.00

Lot max:50.00

Lot min:40.00

dont ask me why lol. i been reading the lot manual but i dont understand this part...maybe someone can explain it alittle better..

Ed_diaz, if you want it to have a foundation, here's what you need to do. 1. Open up your lot. 2. Change the threshold to 0.00, and the lot max to 25.0, leave the lot min at 0.00. That will make it work, enjoy your hydro-electric power plant. 1.gif

Warn you about what?    That many people see no humor in airplanes crashing into things?    Some topics just aren't funny and that is one of them.

We can inspire others through witness so that one grows together in communicating. But the worst thing of all is religious proselytism, which paralyzes: “I am talking with you in order to persuade you.” No. Each person dialogues, starting with his and her own identity. The church grows by attraction, not proselytizing.    - Pope Francis
