I'm starting a new region after a long time away. I also have the CAM pack as well. So far, I have two large-tile cites in development. One is my main city, the other is mostly dirty and manufacturing industry. My problem is that I seem to have reached the limit of power I can sell from the factory city to the main city. This is despite the capacity and demand of the cities. The main city needs power and the factory city has a hydrogen power plant with plenty of excess supply (only at 80% capacity). Have I reached a limit where the game can no longer continue to scale up? Currently, there is 312,470 MW being sold. The main recieving city's power graph has shown for quite some time that demand and supply are exactly equal, yet no power interuptions have happened. The main city is giving me messages about more power needed. I've tried added more power lines between the cities and that has no effect. Do I need to run each city for a certain amount of time before before I can increase the deal? Any advice is appreciated.

Well apparently the problem appears to be solved, it appears to be related to DirectX after all. I updated DirectX while installing Call of Duty 4 and now the crashing no longer occurs. Apparently this was a common problem so add a DirectX update to the list of things to try for such a situation.

As the result of hardware replacement, I am reinstalling SimCity. After installing the Rush Hour expansion however, I crash immediately when the game reaches the EA logo. I am not using any plugins nor loading in any saved cities. I have tried running the respective version patches as well as well as combinations of them at the correct stages, but that has not helped. I am running with the same basic hardware as I did previously: Athlon 3500+ with a 7800gt video card (having since replaced the power supply, motherboard and hard drive). I am running DirectX 9 from my graphics card install disk and have updated to the most recent drivers for my graphics card itself. At this point, I really have run out of ideas for what could be causing this crashing. As I said, Im not using any plugins, nor do I have a multi-core cpu. I will attach a copy of my exception report to see if that will help. Should I try upgrading to DirectX 10 or reverting to my original video card drivers from the install disk?

That looks great! One of the things I though needed improvement with the last road top transit series was the markings. It was difficult to tell where a stop was located unless I was zoomed in deep. Perhaps for the subway would just have a blue zone and yellow for both a subway and bus stop?

Don't go with Alienware, please. They're horribly overpriced and despite what they say, their tech support is bad too. You're better off just building your own computer from a place like NewEgg or Zip Zoom Fly. If you don't think you can do it on your own (its actually quite simple) then go to Monarch Computer and have them build it.

Without getting to graphic here, you have to control your character to 'suceed' with having sex. The girlfriend performs sex acts on the main character, who is still fully clothed. The girlfriend is nude, however only her breasts and butt are shown. Other than that, no other body parts are shown. If you look around the net enough, you can find a video of this, but for obvious reasons, I'm not going to say anything more about that.

Thats America for you. Its one of the few things that really make me hate my country. We can show people dying horrible graphic violent deaths of TV and its perfectly fine, but the moment someone sees a breast, its an obscene disgusting abomdination that must be destroyed. You'd think politicians would want to focus their attention on balancing the budget or improving education and national defense, but no, we have to protect the children from pixel porn.

The reason nobody really hears about AO games and NC-17 movies is becuase nobody will carry them. All the major retailers have announced they're pulling all 3 versions from the shelves until they get new versions that romove the content entirely. On the other hand, can anyone say collectors item?

Is there any simple way to tell what stage a bulding is with accuracy? Do I have to get the Lot editor to tell?

Historical names also work great for me. Personally, I plan on naming cities in my region after people from the Bible: St. Andrew St. Matthew St. Peter St. Timothy St. Titus St. Steven St. Thomas St. John St. James Other famous names are great too. Every culture and place has its war heros, founding fathers, patriots, celebrities, fictional characters and battlegrounds. Use your own to give some a creative touch and personality to your cities.
