Cities: OFFLINE PLAY

several months ago...

there was a series of downloadable files specifically for SkyLine cities OFFLINE PLAY... 

where are, where can, they be found and downloaded?...

just got the game and want to play offline as well...

Cities: Skylines has always been offline... there's never been any online requirement, and it doesn't even have a multiplayer function.  I play it offline on my laptop alll the time...

ditto @aloritias.  I usually log in offline.  if I want to download (subscribe to) new buildings / assets or mods, I'll log in online.  sometimes I find some neat new assets when I log in online, other times I'd rather not be distracted by new stuff and focus on building with the stuff I already have.  Does that help?

then I do not understand... as several months ago the STEX got a large number of download files for a game not SC4... that was all for 'offline'...

did that happen to be for the newer SC5 that was all for?

and then, how much of the game uses "steam"... is that where to the updates/upgrades for skylines?  could "steam" be explained please...

a big THX on aiding me on these matters, in clarification and know-how...

ps... how does skylines compare to SC5; if there can be ways to compare...

I think you are remembering the SimCity 2013 requirements, it was online only and then you got the choice of going offline and a whole pile of mods came out for either online or offline, SC13 uses origin, Cities Skylines uses steam as to how they compare I don't know I never tried SC13 out, but I do like Cities Skylines
