Wow ,you do an incredible job of using different types of mmp to give the scenery a nice rich variety of textures and colors. 

Relotting is done by using a program like the maxis lot editor, basically used to change/add the props and flora on individual lots.

Thanks Takeme, I do try, but honestly, there are not that many MMP's. I could use, for example, in the disaster scene, an ambulance, an helicopter, police cars. But I just don't have those :S... Also, the grass (it is from the pasture mmps, don't recall the user who've made them), could be more thin, it would blend in more naturally, for example. Etc etc etc. As I said, i honestly feel that the game its pretty much "solved" regarding growables and standard ploping. You can always be creative with them, and lots of people are, but, in my opinion, MMP's are the next step in order for the game to survive. But in order to do that, we need way more MMP's. I cannot do them because I just don't know.

 

Ah, well, they were not relotted by me at least, i've downloaded them like that. I've used MMP's and some mods (like the grundgy road) and tried to blend them together. But as you said, now i will try to relot some buildings (get rid of the non hd trees and the textures that i don't use) and that will be good.

I like what you are doing here, and thankyou for the above link for the downloads, i must have downloaded like 40 new buildings from the site. And do you lot edit by chance? I think some LE could add some uniqueness to your cities, some LE parking/green areas in between to housing blocks could really add something extra and puts you in control. It doesn't have to be time consuming, i create one lot and will then make a few very similar ones altering trees/cars/bins/planters to mix it up and have some uniformity.

I don't edit neither lot... My lot editor (maxis one) doesn't open!!! But can you give me more details to where do you find i will win by editing? Between what buildings? Im really a $%&^! concerning that LOL xD

Hi guys!

I have decided to do a new region, Hyōgo (兵庫県): it is to the west of Chingteng Nakata, and i have choosen the Ring of Fire map. 

 

Here are some pics from the city of Fukuoka (福岡市). It is in the transition between a small city near the river and the countryside. They are just some teasers anyway:

No i didn't lot them. Unfortunately my Lot Editor doesn't open! I don't know why :S...I needed to do some parks like the one's that Art uses (IRM IM$$ filler with some green), but i am stuck because i have no clue LOL.

Hi Guys!

First of all thanks for the feedback on the November post!

I did not play SimCity for the last several months, since now I have a job, and I am working on my Master's Thesis and, therefore, I feel that Sim City would take away a lot of precious time of me.

But I am very happy that there are new stuff to use in the game, and hopefully will be playing it in the Summer or so...
