Just a general question. Does anyone know if SC will work with the new Windows?

Just wondering if I will still be able to paly the darn game after upgrading.

I'd be curious to know also about Win 10 compatibility. Although from the looks of the SimCity forums, most works have been abandoned...

According to Microsoft's compatibility report, the game should run on the Windows 10 preview.

So if this is correct, it'd seem likely the answer is also 'yes' when fully released.

Ditto....

In the market now to finally get a computer that will be able to properly handle SC2013.  On the fence if I should just go with Windows 8 or jump all in and go for the current version of Windows 10 at this stage since the latter has been out for some time at this point.

Thanks!!

just got the anwser to your question , it will not run. why you ask its not the software its the graphis card. the high end engine it requires this i read on the net;

Windows 10 is not the problem. Low end hardware is the problem. This SimCity game (2013 release) requires an actual, discrete gaming class video graphics adapter, and doesn't run correctly on various low quality graphics devices, sorry! ... SimCity will run on Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7.
