Another far too warm month is nearing it's end. The mean temperature is already 4 K over average and since the warm pattern will stay until the end of the month, i don't expect the outcome much lower than the current.

Right now it's 11.6°C and cloudy, tomorrow it is supposed to go up to 21°C (70°F) which would be a record high for Late October here.

After a freak snow storm grande prairie is pretty much empty for traffic which is a first. The roads going to edmonton are all blocked so hotels are all booked tight(Like usual). To think two days ago it was plus 9...Now its snowstorming..

In the Georgian Bay area we have been having a full equinoctal gale for the past week.  I know it is a little late,but the winds are force 6 or higher, the lake has been showing sea state 3 wave patterns, and some areas have had freezing rain and snow.  The temperature is hovering around 10°C in the daytime and 0°C at night.  Most of the outdoor plants have quit, and nearly all the deciduous trees have shed their foliage.
