I think I'll keep to the SC4 topic, simply because it's got so many unrelated maps. My opinion is that should become a Simtropolis wide thread. XD Though the other thread is nearing bug/page overload time again, so I don't know...

Hopefully, I'm not bumping this thread, but... this is a little something I cooked up for my city, Wilmington in Illustrator.

Is there any particular tool you guys use to create your metro maps? I created one for a city (below) that I was working on awhile back but it was incredibly tedious to do. Doesn't look as polished or refined as some others I've seen. Trying to find a scale that I'm happy with.

 

The current city I'm working on is gonna be nightmarish to do a transit map because of the number of criss-crossing lines and shared stations to do.

 

Oh and why does this forum duplicate images I upload? Never ones that I post a direct link to from external sites.

Funny idea bit much work for a game but i may create a transitmap a other day. Heres 7 buslines and one Suburban trainline.
