    Lot Editor is not only for those who upload their lots to the STEX! Use it for your cities! It's really intresting and easy :} Especially with prop finding lots by Disk_Error:

    This CJ is nothing short of amazing. One question though, where can I find those plain conrete retaining walls?

    This region is very inspiring.

    Can you please explain some more about your road layouts? I see all these roads, but I don't understand why you've set it up the way you have (or where they are going!). I am sure there is some logic involved, like bus-only routes.

    Can you pick a spot and point out some things? Like maybe the plantation station, or one of the suburbs?

    Thanks.

    Hi Marrast,

    Extraordinary, work.
    And I've noticed something in your Ipsum Chemicals Plant, those look like Jeroni's seawalls, and is It a trick, or do I see the walls extending under your bridge? 42.gif

    Take care 48.gif

    Oh, some intresting comments here to answer! Thanks guys for your words!

    To Phath3: Thanks man :} Glad you find these curve parks beautiful :}

    To Oroen: Woah, the nostalgia, cool! Thank you for your words :}

    To ILL Tonsko: Simply thanks for your comment 3.gif9.gif

    To ThePeoplesPerson: Well, wich retaining walls did you mean? :} Any way, all the retaining wall that you can find in this CJ are made by me, exept of Jeroni's concrete walls and his sea walls :}

    To Evening: Thanks for intresting question! First of all, road layout process is my favourite part of the game. I love to have nice looking roads in my cities. Often my own ideas are not really functional because of game limits. For example, an Irafirom Community station approach . This approach is a logical ending (or beginning) of the avenue, that goes through all the neighbour city square. In theory, this station, and the approac itself must be the one of the busiest transport hubs in the region. But in real, nobody use it. The station you have talking about, Mezonrech Plantations Station , situated in the area, that will be developed in the future. I'm always trying to create a transportation layout before i start zoning or else.
    Concering bus routes, you didn't get the idea. I've never make the bus only routes in Eladremme. The buses uses the same roads as other kinds of road traffic. But tey just cannot use any road or street to go through. I'm always trying to have my bus network very organized, that's why i use clean-cutted bus routes :} Further more, i find it kinda realistic :}

    MAN is your journal an inspiration Marrast. Its so clever, and look so, so, so, realistic. Lol, at the glitches - glad mine has never done anything so dramatic!

    I remember at the beginning of this, when you said the landscape was 'gonna get eaten by urbanisation', but I never imagined it would be so carefully and beautifully done. Such a great CJ, well done! 44.gif

    You are right, I chose poorly in my words. I didn't mean only buses roads, but the bus routes since you block them from some places (or am I still misunderstanding? 41.gif).

    So in the Irafirom community picture, you have the avenue going under the rail, then it splits into two one-ways, right? And you have a one-way going around to the bus/subway terminals, and looping back to the main road. So then the avenue is primarily to get to the bus terminal since it is not easily to go past that point and on to the rest of the city (since you have to loop around). Is this correct?

    Was there a reason you didn't have the avenue continue and have a big intersection for people to get to the bus terminal?

    I guess I'm just curious to know more about the logic behind your transportation system. I find I do the same thing over and over again, even when I try not to, because I am still stuck in the older versions of SimCity (plus the boring-ness of where I grew up). Your cities are very different, and intriguing. I think if I can understand your approach to transportation, then maybe I can try new things more easily/successfully. At least that is my hope 1.gif

    Thanks, and I hope I'm not being too searious 9.gif

    This CJ is truly amazing... It looks like you edited every single lot even industrial lots... I wonder how much time it takes, customizing all these lots and playing the game as well....

    replying to my previous post:
    I did read that directives but I thought the interval was a bit to big. However I like the looks of the spacing, and in Moscow there is much more space indeed to have big inner-city grasslands... so I can understand where this derectives came from44.gif

    I find the spacing in the Brubus community just perfect it looks so real.. I think this is the best picture so far..

    Good luck with it,

    Keep it up!

    Those road-side/park embankments are excellent, and the landscaping!!
    You seem to combine stunning scenery with dull built enviroments (the cuubane area), and end result is, well 44.gif

    Theres a thing. I notice you are using the snow capped mod and a custom rock mod.
    I find that if i have the snow capped mod (Teiruso's), PEG's rock mods won't work.
    Was your custom made one meant to get around this? Is it an easy thing to do?

    Wow, thank you, guys, for the comments and viewing!
    It's so good to see people reading this CJ even the last update was truly long ago!
    As always, i'd like to answer to most intresting comments :}

    To Will_Silver00: Thanks for such a carefuly reading! Well, i didn't ever think that it will go that way, i just very captious to my cities 21.gif Actually, the urbanization didn't even started! It's only a preparing for it, ha-ha 11.gif The downtown area will be more closer to the sea, at the delta :}

    To DragonAnime: LOL 18.gif I hope to get the next chapter of the airplane journey soon :}

    To Evening: You absolutely right. I use Morifari's  Bus Blockers to prevent my buses go through casual routes. I think it's silly to have 2000 buses going through the small street instead of avenue. SC4 transport simulator is not so smart, we all know it 21.gif

    About Irafirom Community Station . Well, looks like you didn't get the whole idea. Yes, the avenue that goes under the railway splits into two oneways and go northward to the Brubus Community. At the same time, it goes southward through the Irafirom community. As the arterial road of the city, it can't have a cross intersections with the busy railway line, that's why it goes under. And the oneway loop is for buses and cars to be able to get the railway station from this ave. Logically, this station is the first stop at inhabited locality in Eladremme, so it might be very busy and  overloaded, that's why the approach must be as much capable as possible. The oneway loop is one of the variations to get a needed result :}

    The station is very easy to get from every plae of the city, no matter from the north, or from the south (behind the railway), as for pedestrians, these subway entrances are not a subway terminal. I use subway for creating underground pedestrian underpasses, here is an example:

    align=baseline>

    align=baseline>

    I find it kinda realistic :} Furthermore, Etsaw is not a big city to have a subway network 18.gif

    Oh, I hope that i've understood you right and answered to your questions. It was really intresting, by the way! Really great to see someone trying to find the logic in my road layouts!  Thank you 44.gif

    To Marijntjo: Thanks, man! I have to say that it really takes much time, that's why the region grows so slow :}
    Glad that you like the Brubus community! And about spacing and building directives - it was created only for the Etsaw construction period, future developings will have more variety in building spacing and all the rest :}

    To Sim_Idiot: Thank you! I hope to get new chapter soon, but before i have some problems to solve (read below)34.gif

    To All: Oh, as always, Eladremme CJ has a problem 21.gif
    Today i was trying to get the custom BAT nite lits work, i didn't update the game since i have it at my new PC, so after i have an update installed, nite lits work fine, but after that i've restarted my system and now i have my SC4 crashing back to desktop while i'm trying to lunch it. I can't even see EA logo!
    So, in this case, i can't get some pics for the next chapter of the Eladremmian nature, but i hope to get this problem solved out soon 34.gif
