any cheat to fix pollution?

Is there a cheat out there that I can put in my plugins folder that will take away the ground/water and air pollution?  I have one for the air pollution which helps but I'm looking for others...  The standard/ default water treatment plant doesn't do the trick.    Any helpful ideas?

by the way, the pollution isn't just around the farmland areas or rivers, it's on the whole city :(

It's even on my region map on how polluted the city looks :(1xNlSDC.jpg

Can we see a screenshot of your pollution data view for the entire city tile? If pollution is equally high all over the tile, that's definitely not normal. This could be the consequence of a bad plugin, or - ironically - of a radical anti-pollution cheat lot.

Wow, I don't have an answer to this problem, but that is some mighty pollution.

However, as T Wrecks said, do you have any cheats, LOTs or BATs that are supposed to deal with pollution and are these of a more radical nature?

It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning to long to believe that the tides going to turn.

I generally use the cheat dollar trees for one year (in the start of beginning the city) then I'll delete it which I've never had any issues after that but with this city, I bulldozed everything ( I have a saved backup just incase) and put it on cheetah mode for several years and still the pollution remained. I'm puzzled too... guess I'll have to blow it up and start over :(

This is a much better mod for getting lots of cash immediately. The trees do come generally with some issues.

Yeah, that tile looks bugged. There's no reason for that air pollution, or what kind of buildings are these?

Not sure why anyone bothers with money trees and similar. Just use the "moolah" cheat if you need it.

I agree with money mods being a waste of time, I can print cash with Moolah whenever I like, think of it as SimQuantitative Easing.

I would say this is a faulty plugin, did this happen after installing a particular mod? Best way to check, drop 5-10 Water treatment plants in the same area, run the game on high speed for about a year, does at least some of the pollution clean up? If you get little to no improvement, then you need to start looking for what mod caused the problem.

Before you start, make a backup of your region, just in case. Then goto the affected city tile and get the bulldozer out, clean out segments of your city one at a time, you could start by removing half the city tile, run the game at full speed for a year (if needed) to see if the pollution improves. If not, exit without saving, return to the city and bulldoze the other half, this time it should go away. Once you've narrowed down which half the faulty plugin resides in, you need to repeat this process in ever-reducing areas until you can pin-point which area the problem is coming from. At this point take things slower and bulldoze a lot at a time and you should get your answer with the minimal amount of work.

If by some chance you see no improvement after removing the first two halfs, then report back as you'll need to go in a different direction.

Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

Well, I was hoping that someone would find the problem for you, but I can take an empirical approach and you can see what happens.  You will have to plop both of these lots somewhere in that tile, as near the centre as possible.

And stop using the silly money lots.  Use the moolah command if you need money (needs the extra cheats dll).

If these two lots together cannot cure this over a couple of Sim-years, then something is drastically wrong.  They do not fix road pollution which is best handled by the clean air ordinance with the NAM.
