Bullet train fence - MIA

Hi Everyone

A minor problem, but I don't seem to have a fence running alongside my elevated bullet train rail as I have seen on many other peoples.

I have a fully updated NAM, custom installation and have clicked for the full bullet train. In my NAM plugin all the .dats for bullet train appears to be there.

So does anyone know what the problem might be?

Thanks

It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning to long to believe that the tides going to turn.

That's not the Bullet Train Mod, but rather the High Speed Rail. The Bullet Train Mod is a full network override for the monorail, while the High Speed Rails are completely starter-based.

Try to build just monorail and see if you get what you want.

    Thanks Mandelsoft.

Indeed, the monorail has the fence.

The NAM is an amazing and fantastic but sometimes complicated beast  :)  0:)

Thanks a lot for the clarification and sorry for the confusion.

While we're at it, can I ask a question?

Does ElRail have some kind of texture beneath the tracks? Because what I'm seeing now is just grass. Which, in urban areas, kinda looks odd! I seem to remember in a city once I had ElRail with some kind of asphalt or cement texture beneath the tracks, but I might be remembering wrong...

Or maybe this time I skipped something during NAM reinstall? Thanks :)

Yes it does but I think you need a different mod for that. I am currently using an Japanese EL mod which was made by Moonlight and is part of the NAM I believe, you can select it when you launch the NAM installer. If you want asphalt beneath it, you can use the EL over road or avenue.

If you use the Moonlight one, it should like this.

OK. If I have understood correctly, my monorail ha snow become a bullet train system?

That was what I wanted (bullet train), which is why I clicked on that during installation, but was looking for the tracks and stations etc, but that is what the monorail now is?

    Great.

You cannot have both monorail, high speed rail (HSR) and bullet train rail (BTR) all at the same time. You have to understand that the HSR and BTR are merely re-texturing of the monorail and still functions as such.
