After being on this site for a rather long period of time, I've finally decided to make an account. So, hello everyone! I'm glad to be here, and I can't wait to get involved in the forum activity, as I have a lot of questions to ask.

I've been playing sim city 4 for about six years, and after I discovered this site I read about all the useful mods and now I have patched my game and installed NAM (though i kinda regret installing the new infrastructure options, as I hardly ever use them and they're just there bloating the UI....but this is off-topic ^^). I love the region based gameplay of sim city 4, and pretty much everything about it, that's why I never moved on to newer games like cities xl or the newer sim city games. About my play style, I like to develop my cities step by step, not pre plan a city wide transportation network, zones, whatever.

Those were a few things about me. See you on the forum! :)

Welcome to Simtropolis, teomares!

I do think most people do their cities step by step (I think I'm notorious for that style ) because it gives you more interesting scenarios. I do love region play because it also gives you interaction between the two cities and you can also transfer jobs or population to that area if you don't want your city being too large.

I hope to see you around at the forums!

Regards,

Tonraq
